Exceptional service. Very clean. True Newfoundland hospitality! Turkey dinner was delicious and so was the Pan Fried Cod. No complaints. A must to see is the Sandbanks Provincial Park. Amazing scenery!

We did not stay at the motel but had supper there two of the days we were in Burgeo. All the restaurants appear to have the same menu, but this restaurant was the only one we found that didn't deep fry everything.

Stayed one night and slept like a baby. This place is very clean and comfortable with all the conveniences of home. Rooms are large and the bed was oh so comfy. I have not problem returning to this establishment.

Burgio and area is hauntingly beautiful and the location of the Sandlands Park with many exceptional sand beaches. However, being at the end of a long road it does not attract many tourists so there is little infrastructure. If you visit Burgio you will find good clean comfortable accommodation at Gillett's Motel. It is plain on the outside, but once...

Had a week long stay at the motel and found the room spacious and clean and the staff friendly. There are no fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers or even an ice machine available so it's best to plan ahead. The restaurant on-site was good but the menu was very limited due to the time of year (late September) so many items were...

Not many choices in Burgeo. Positives here are the friendly staff, the clean rooms. Not so good is the restaurant with few choices. We stayed a total of 4 nights over a week's period and the "tonight's specials" were always the same. One night I asked for a glass of wine and was told there was just one glass of...

We stayed for a family wedding in town. As most of the family was arriving there was not enough room for everyone to stay at family residence. The staff went out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfast was great as well as lunch and dinner. We had several family members stay here that arrived in...

We were in Burgeo on our way to take the ferry to Ramea. I'd made reservations long in advance, but there wasn't much need. Not many tourists seem to come to the end of the road; we were the only guests. The motel was clean and the staff friendly. The restaurant menu is basic. The large room with large dressers...

We drove 4000km with a toddler and infant and stayed mostly in hotels and motels in newfoundland and nova scotia and this was the best the entire trip! It was meticulously clean, the room had a nice floor space for a toddler and crib and the mattresses were pretty good too! All in all a nice place to stay. It...
