I'd been going to job interviews in Eastern Kansas and Oklahoma and mostly had been treated very badly along the way. My room here was clean, neat, cute, quiet, and really ok. Owners were kind and patient with me. The little town of Oakley is friendly and upbeat. I liked it. I didn't need a mansion. My room was clean. The bathroom light was very very dim and that could be fixed. Heat wasn't regulated great but other than that, I honestly had no complaints and got some good rest. I also have stayed with them before and thought it was fine

I have never been in a room as filthy dirty as this one. If we were not so tired, I would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. As it was, I used wipes and cleaned layers and layers of dust off the hangers and flat surfaces. When I cleaned the heating device controls, my rag was black!! There was no heat in the room and the heating device never did heat the room, we slept in all our clothes. This motel was way overpriced for the area and the quality of the room. The washcloths looked like they had been used for shoe cleaning rags. Overall, a poor excuse for a motel.

Room was dirty. Fingerprints everywhere. Carpet had not been vacuumed. Round toilet seat on oval toilet, so not stable when sitting on it. Bad experience. Broken glass and numerous cigarette butts in walkway. Don’t stay there!

We came upon this hotel after about 10 hours on the road. I didn't realize until now when I see this site, there were several other hotels in the area. We picked this one out of overtired desperation. We don't usually ask to see a room in advance, but I had a feeling we should have when we entered the lobby. Kinda shabby. But the young man behind the desk was very friendly and got us checked in. When he saw me with my bag he even offered to carry it upstairs for me, which was nice. Everything in the room looked old and worn. But there was no dust on the dresser, so it was clean, just old and worn. However half of the lights did not work. We had 2 phones plus a CPAP to plug in and no outlets. I skipped the CPAP for the night. The sheets were dingy yellow with some kind of stain on them - looked like nail polish? Upon arrival our bathroom had 2 washcloths and no towels of any kind. I called downstairs and a boy delivered 2 bath towels & a hand towel. Thin and worn. My bath towel looked like someone had previously used it for a cleaning rag. Later, when getting ready for bed, I discovered one of the pillows didn't have a pillow case. Again, I called downstairs and a pillow case was delivered. This plus the towel situation made me wonder if the room had been cleaned since the last person used it. I wouldn't be surprised if someone had decided to curl up and take a nap in this bed and then just hastily remade it... The bathroom was the nicest, cleanest part of the room, although the vent didn't work. The TV was unusual. It kept telling us the channels had never been programmed and call the office. We were able to get one regular network channel. Every other channel was infomercials. I didn't care for the disinfectant smell of the room, but that was preferable to the cow manure smell coming through the air conditioning vent from the stockyard next door. It was interesting how they filled in the swimming pool and turned it into a picnic area. It was the kind of hotel where you want to sleep with your clothes on. I couldn't wait to fall asleep so I could wake up and leave. We didn't even go to the lobby for the "free breakfast" or coffee. Too scary.…

Requested a non-smoking room. The smell of smoking was very strong, apparently all the rooms on the first floor were smoking and the stink was coming up from there. The bathroom was especially bad. Heaters were unique, had to get down on the floor to use controlls. We wanted a double room but ended up with a 2 bedroom with 2 beds in one room and one in the other. The TV in the double room did not work. Lots of extension cords. Breakfast wasn't worth going down for. Won't be stopping there again.

This is a weekly /monthly rooming house with no late service..Was able to wake proprietor and son at 1 for a room using their door bell.....TV did not work at check in and lasted about 10 min the following morning.....Still haven't received my Wyndam rewards points, a complete school of Crickets and grasshoppers have infested the bathroom and the noise from second floor that existed each time a person walked was terrible....

beds comfortable but carpet dirt, stated the had free continental breakfast this consisted of dry cereal (one kind), coffee, prepackaged sweet rolls. The second floor rooms were unusable because stairs were falling down. Not worth the $70.

Now a Roadway Inn, this is a LAST resort accommodation. Extremely poor condition. No breakfast, coffee machine broken in office, no coffee in room. Terrible mattress, WiFi with no internet connection, surface peeling off in bathtub. Close enough to enjoy the local cattle feed lot with is strong odor!!

My stay was for pleasure. It's exceeded my expectation. Very nice area and excellent service. Manager was especially accommodating, professional and courteous. He made us feel comfortable and entertained from start to finish. Room was tidy and clean!
