We were here for a wedding and it was suggested by the bride and groom. Instead of looking at other options, we just blindly reserved it. I should have been suspicious when there's no real way to perform an online booking; you either call and...More
After at least 10 annual trips to Lindsborg and its environs, my wife and I finally stayed at the Swedish Country Inn for the first time. We stayed for two nights and devoted most of our time in town to walking (I did a Volksmarch)...More
This was first experience with a bed and breakfast place and I really enjoyed it. I had read about Lindsborg previously and having traveled in Europe myself I just had to see it. My only complaints would be that rooms are dated and may need...More
Friends and I attended a meeting of about 50 people at a conference center in downtown Lindsborg in early April. A few of us stayed overnight at the Swedish Country Inn and found it a charming place. It is essentially a bed and breakfast in...More
The Swedish Country Inn has been our "home away from home" for several years. We meet family from Colo., Mo. and Ne. for a relaxing weekend in Lindsborg. The SCI is part of the charm. We can enjoy an evening of wine, we bring ourselves,...More

There is no elevator. The ground floor has 5 or 6 rooms, which have 2 double beds or a single bed (queen I think, small room). The former are larger rooms and about $90. There are more rooms upstairs, ranging from rooms with 2 doubles, queens, updated queens (bathrooms are updated), and a larger room with a small sitting area with a 4-poster bed (queen)--used to be the honeymoon suite. I think the latter is about $135. There are two rooms with a queen that are larger with a sitting area, and I believe those are more expensive. I stayed on the ground floor in a room with two doubles, and it was perfectly fine. The woman (owner, I think) who answers the phone in the daytime on weekdays was very helpful in giving me all the details of the various rooms for our group of 10. Some were downstairs and some were upstairs. For some reason, the downstairs rooms are cheaper but not sure why. It is a charming place.

"There are two floors and we only experienced the lower floor. Easy access, though."
