We stayed in the junior suite, a well furnished large room with excellent bathroom, all ideal for a family sharing. A great idea is the honesty drinks fridge in the lobby, fresh milk always available. The breakfast is fantastic, great selection with homemade bread each day. Liz is a super host.

Thanks for your lovely review - Room 1 certainly seems to be working well for families and we're so glad you and the girls enjoyed your mini Easter break. The climbing walls in Exeter sounded great fun for all of you, maybe we should give them a try!

An absolute gem! The Old Dairy has popped our BnB cherry and this has set the expectations very high for the future. We stayed on the second floor over looking the fields on one side and the court yard on the other. Loved speaking to Liz in the morning during breakfast (the quality of the breakfast was excellent). Would be...

A warm, friendly and informative welcome greeted us at Bishops Barton. We enjoyed a lovely stay in the tastefully renovated and immaculate Junior Suite at the Old Dairy with delicious breakfasts in the Farmhouse. Delighted to say that Liz has also gone the extra mile and kindly sent on my forgotten jacket..however a return visit to collect would be tempting!...

There are very few places that my wife and I agree on completely, but this one was easy. It's a 5/5 review for this fantastic place, and Liz, our wonderful host. We stayed for a Saturday night to enjoy a weekend in Somerset, and this is a great place to base yourself for exploring Somerset and Devon, which it borders...

This visit was for a relaxing anniversary weekend. Five, beautifully connverted barns separate from the main house, were of exceptional standard and immaculately clean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Evening meal was recommended at a delightful local pub where owner made enquiries and arranged booking on our behalf (evening meals only available Sunday to Thursday at Bishops Barton)...

Large cosy bedroom with en-suite, spotlessly clean and a lovely breakfast. I couldn't fault it, our hostess met us in the car park with a torch when we arrived and there was a coffee cafetière in the room, little things which make all the difference. We were only there one night but it was absolutely spot on.

Stayed here when attending a friends birthday party. Delightful rural location. Beautifully presented accommodation with charming owner. Clean as a whistle with bath and separate shower cubicle. Good quality full English breakfast. Would stay again.

Excellent Base for exploring the quiet countryside of the South West. The standard of the rooms is second to none and the attention of the Hosts, Liz and Steve, is of the same standard. We stayed two nights early January for a nearby wedding but wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area.

A really nice B&B with great hosts. The room was a great size and the bed was massive, and super comfy too!! Breakfast was tasty, and plenty of it too. Liz had lots of recommendations for pubs to visit, and gave great directions for some local walks too. It's a shame there are no pubs within walking distance, but it...
