This is a beautiful location and Caro is a brilliant hostess - nothing is too much trouble.

The building is delightful and the grand hallway magnificent - a really beautiful Grade 2 Listed Building with charm.

Excellent food but very slow service. We took about two and a half hours to order and be served three courses from a relatively simple but good menu.
Would still recommend despite the wait. Holidays are all about not rushing!?

A spectacular property with lots of fine architectural features and wonderful views. We were made to feel very welcome by host and author Caro, who very kindly rose early to provide us with a full cooked breakfast which set us up for the day ahead.

We stayed for one night, the rooms were clean and warm, Caro the host was very friendly and made us a lovely breakfast in the morning. We would recommend it, the building had a great history and amazing views.
