We had a really lovely stay in this unusual and gorgeous accommodation. As a couple, we stayed in the City Circle carriage. Everything was so beautifully done to fit into the "train carriage". We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package - and the food was fantastic. Lovely evening dinner complete with a bottle of wine and cheese/nibbles before the...

I'm not sure there is enough space on here to describe this wonderful place. Arriving on a Friday night the carriage was cooled to a wonderful temperature. It was still a warm day for April. We were greeted by the owners and shown through our wonderful carriage. It was immaculate, every little detail perfect. The pool table the bathroom, kitchen,...

Wonderfully appointed converted train carriages. We stayed in the couples - City Carriage. Very comfortable accommodation, perfect for a relaxed stay. Air conditioned comfort. Some unsealed road (approx 3.5kms) easy driving. Will be staying their in the future.

As a couple from the UK visiting Australia we came accross this great place by accident and wished we could have stayed 2 nights. Stock up with beer/wine, nice BBQ outside, aircon in the carriage, your free to wander the farm or in my case open gates for the farmer so the stallion could do his job. Apart from the...

Thank you for reviewing your stay and for the great photos you have taken the time to share. The sunset and the birds are two of our favourites.

Even if you've travelled Gold Class on the Indian Pacific, you will not have experienced the luxury of this ageing trans Australian carriage, or its smaller sister. 'Unique' is a much over-used descriptor of travel experiences, but this experience in the silent, star-filled, landscape not too far out of Temora comes close, and Rita and Lindsay are outstanding hosts. Don't...

The country carriage b & b was a great place to stay. Quaint, peaceful, easy to get to/find, picturesque. The night sky was clear, could see millions of stars. Breakfast was plentiful. Host Rita was very chatty and very easy to get along with. Would highly recommend the B & B, for your stay.

How surreal to play pool in a train carriage parked on a farm in Quandary. The location was perfect for us visiting relatives nearby, and Rita and Lindsay helpfully provided a fold-up bed so the 12-year-old could stay as well. But I would recommend Country Carriage Bed and Breakfast for absolutely anyone as a stop-over (with a slight detour) on...

We stayed for two nights in the Overlander carriage and really enjoyed the experience of being well out in the country with beautiful views and lots of birds. The Overlander is very comfortable and welcoming - my Mum was with us, and thoroughly appreciated the luxury of the electric blanket!

Husband and I stayed in the City Circle carriage for one night early October. It was a wonderful experience. The carriage is beautifully set out and the bed so comfortable. We cooked steaks on the BBQ and enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the fields. Rita was a joy to talk to and gave us a tour...

Your review is appreciated very much, particularly as you mentioned using Trip Advisor reviews to select your accommodation when travelling. It is a pleasure to show our guests through the Pioneers Cottage and our son's collection of horse-drawn machinery, wagons, carts and sulkies and other farming implements from the late 1800s to the early 1900s - this is another unique...

Had a wonderful stay in the City Circle, so well restored and converted but with so many original touches. Loved the billiard table, and Rita's breakfast and hospitality was memorable. Want to return soon!
