This a truly hidded treasure that excites both mind and soul when you discover it.Set in green beautiful gardens, it represents one of the very rare places you'd visit and still find lots of free space to breath fresh air devoid of noise and other disturbances.Don't waste time and energy looking for a place to unwind when you visit Kisumu,Kakamega,Eldoret,Bungoma... I stayed here for a night and a memorable dinner and breakfast package, the cottages were spacious and airy, considering the rural setup this is a lovely place, the food was delicious and so fresh. This is a must go back to place.

We had a wonderful family get together at Sosa cottages, the food was great and the cottages were comfortable and well appointed for those that stayed over late. The swimming pool was great for the younger set and for the older ones - the bar was well stocked. The food was excellent quality, we had a whole goat and accompaniments.... More

Stayed for two nights as a group of almost 30. Was given a Villa after the cottage reserved for me was still occupied, was great that they still charged the cottage rate for the villa. Food was great and plenty! The compound is beautiful! Wifi good enough to stream videos. Maybe consider instant showers in the Villas as the rainy weather... More

The place gets a high rating from me with full recognition that it's settings are at the heart of rural Western Kenya and therefore quite a delight to come across a really decent and well kept place...for its location, it is worth it. Obviously it has its downs for starters the rooms could do with a few updates like showers... More

We were there for lunch, in the beautifully laid out and well kept grounds. The food was good... when it eventually arrived, after an eternity. Not acceptable for a business lunch. If this can be sorted out I would recommend Sosa highly. Excellent location from which to tour the dramatic rock formations in the area.

I stayed here with my family in May. We stayed in one of the cottages. While this is a rural setting, the number of bugs in the rooms was annoying. Seems like the management needs to call pest control to kill all the bugs and insects in the room, including the house lizards!! Also, the staff in the front office... More

Tucked away in western kenya is the biggest secret yet. Sosa is a well maintained facility with all basics well catered for (tvs in rooms too). Can do for singles and families. Should you want to get away to a quite country setting, for self reflection and bonding this is the place to be. The well manicured gardens are great.... More

My wife and I stayed at Sosa cottages for 4 nights during the month of April. The setting was good: clean and well kept lawns, professional staff, and good service. The rooms were clean but could do with some updates. For example, a curtain around the shower would be useful to prevent water from spilling all over the place. Also,... More
