Rooms are spacious and clean with huge balcony and covered parking underneath the rooms. Water heater works really well. Beds are very comfortable. View from the balcony is stunning and there are lingering smell of flowers. Food can be improved.

It would be unfair to judge Kinabalu Pine Resort on absolute standards rather than relatively, taking account of its semi-remote, near rainforest location with its inherent challenges. I didn’t see a designated smoking area but the hotel should have one as most of the hotels in Malaysia will have one.You can always check with the front office staff upon check in.
