This place is gorgeous! My friend and I drove through from KK. It was a medium drive up a driveway, easy to navigate. We arrived just before sunset. Just in time to watch the magic unfold and enjoy a yum home cooked meal (vegetarian or vegan). We also woke early to see the beautiful sunrise and the early morning mist...

A beautiful wooden lodge up a (very steep) 1km track near the national park. Peaceful place with gorgeous views. Great value for money, nice food and immaculately clean. Definitely recommend. A gem in the forest. One thing to note- they had no running water for a whole day/night while we were there. Couldn't shower or brush teeth etc.. Not nice...

The title says it all. I don't tend to write reviews. But this place was just so perfect and lovely, I felt obliged to take the time to give them the feedback they deserve. Though it's about a 15 minute walk from the main road and 30-min walk from the park entrance, this place is perfect. Nestled away in a...

...and that's about it, save its low price and convenience to Kinabalu Park. The food is unspectacular, staff aloof, and walls aren't much thicker than cardboard; this was particularly trying since we shared it with a family with young, vociferous children. The view, and just chilling on the porch, is pretty stellar though.

Good service and nice breakfast prepared by the caretakers. Got a nice room with two double beds and a balcony overlooking the valley. It gets cold at night. Bathroom and toilets are clean. Hot shower is available however the hot water runs out fast during peak hours. Just have to wait for the water to reboil. Hot water for drinking...

The place is quite far from the park entrance (more than 2km) and you have to walk on the border of the road if you don't have a car and want to walk. The view is amazing from the balcony. The facilities are okay, decent despite of the number of dead moths and others insects. Walls very thin, the place...

It's situated about 2km from Kinabalu park. If travel as a soloist it is quite difficult to travel around. Nevertheless, the helpful receptionist would assist you with the transportation but need to pay a big bulk of money to taxi which I think is not worth. However if traveling with a group of people, it is much better to drive...

This place does not dissapoint. The setting, the views, walking distance to the Kinabalu park. It's basic but clean and well maintain including the garden. Value for money 100%. They do cook your dinners if you wish but I suggest you opt to have your dinners at the restaurant off the road just in front of the Kinabalu park. Cheap...

There werent many people at the hostel when we arrived, so we got an upgrade for free from the 10 bed dorm we booked to a double room which was so so nice of them! and then they even let us check out like 5 hours after the usual time, because we asked them if it was okay. and besides...

This lodge is a jewel at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. The national park is very close and you can easily walk there by foot. The scenery is amazing with a great view over a valley and 200m from the lodge you can see the summit of Mt. Kinabalu. There is an abundance of birds, moths and other insects, maybe...
