Comfortable lodges, friendly staff, great dining, perfect location. We couldn't have really asked for more. After arriving at Mt Kinabalu headquarters we completed the arrivals process with the staff and were escorted to a very comfortable 2 person lodge. The lodge had an en suite shower/toilet and a king sized bed. It didn't have air conditioning which resulted in the...

It's a beautiful lodge that offers private rooms or dorms. I stayed in a dorm; the beds are built into small bunks with curtains. You have a plug and your own lights in them. At night it can get a bit chilly since you are up on a mountain, so maybe pack a pair of good pj's and some socks;)...

Very nice place on a beautiful location. Perfect hangout to explore the area and trails around the mountain. Friendly staff, good vegetarian food and very clean bathrooms. A bit high priced but definitely worth the money. Wooden building can be a bit noisey though

This is the most serene accomodation I've ever stayed in, it is located deep into the hills away from the noisy main road. It has a patio with a great view, especially at sunset. The rooms and beds are clean and appear mostly new. The bathrooms are very clean and nice. The family that runs this place are so lovely...

Wooden lodge set on a hillside about 1km from main road up a steep but driveable track. They do a tasty inexpensive vegetarian dinner and breakfast of scrambled eggs or egg sandwiches which you can eat on the terrace over looking garden and foothills of Kinabalu. They offer a free bird watching tour but unfortunately the guide was unavailable while...

It's an amazing view! The staff where super friendly and the food average, though good fuel for the climb! The tea was delicious. Make sure you have enough snacks, water and cigarettes if you smoke. As all supplies have to be carried up it is expensive, how-ether hats off to the strong porters! I shared a dorm and unfortunately the...

This lodge is about 2KM away from the KK national park. (1 km in the mountain, other 1km on the highway) It's not very easy to find, BJ was very helpful talking to our driver to help him find his way up there. The view from the lodge was good. Our room was small yet neat, it has no private...

This place is gorgeous! My friend and I drove through from KK. It was a medium drive up a driveway, easy to navigate. We arrived just before sunset. Just in time to watch the magic unfold and enjoy a yum home cooked meal (vegetarian or vegan). We also woke early to see the beautiful sunrise and the early morning mist...

A beautiful wooden lodge up a (very steep) 1km track near the national park. Peaceful place with gorgeous views. Great value for money, nice food and immaculately clean. Definitely recommend. A gem in the forest. One thing to note- they had no running water for a whole day/night while we were there. Couldn't shower or brush teeth etc.. Not nice...

The title says it all. I don't tend to write reviews. But this place was just so perfect and lovely, I felt obliged to take the time to give them the feedback they deserve. Though it's about a 15 minute walk from the main road and 30-min walk from the park entrance, this place is perfect. Nestled away in a...
