I stayed here a year ago and again this week. Last time it was all a bit run down but now it has new owners there is a definite optimism and change in the place. The bar/eating area is really welcoming, especially with the big wood fire to warm you up and a great range of beers and local wines....

Went to Weldborough with a group of friends for a weekend of mountain biking. My friend and I shared a room in the hotel the others camped at the hotels camp ground. For $100 you get a room with 2 single beds, 2 towels and that's it. No access to tea and coffee, not even a cup. The men's bathroom...

Spent one night here while mountain biking Blue Derby. The accommodation was fairly basic but the bed (in queen room) was really comfortable and I slept very well. Pub is very popular for meals (might want to book if you have a few people). Enjoyed the steak and local beers and the company of other mountain bikers.

We called in for a meal on a Saturday as we were in the area. I had been here a number of times over the last few months and the food, coffee and service is fantastic. The new owners have created a place to stop and relax with great food and atmosphere. Normally I have a Beef Burger and it...

I visited this pub with a group of bush walkers. Now it is an authentic old-time pub, so the rooms are as expected being a bed in a small room, and little else in the room. The bathroom including the loo is down the hall. However the bed was comfortable and the showers were as clean as one can get...

We visited The Weldborough pub yesterday as a lunch stop in the middle of a mountain bike day trip. Apparently it's under new management. Fabulous food which was a lovely surprise. I had a beef burger with caramelised onions, homemade tomato relish, homemade burger, chunky chips and topped of with a micro brewery ale. Beaut location sitting outside in the...

Just spent 2 nights staying at hotel. Simple clean, very affordable twin room. Clean shared bathrooms. Excellent $20 steak sandwich and beers galore! Best thing thou was the service. It's how it should be in every hotel. Sam in particular is an outstanding host and nothing was too much trouble. We will return. Great campsite also 😀 It's worth the...

The couple who own this property when I stayed cared deeply about their clients comfort and satisfaction. The food was great and their excellent supply of craft beers and ciders makes this pub unique. Accommodation is available, whereby I pitched a tent. It's a beautiful spot in Tasmania; peaceful and lushly green. Amenities include hot water showers and flushing toilets....

Ok, I will qualify this and say that the pub has new owners and they have repainted the pub and the pub food and service is great. The accommodation however is not. We stayed in 'the Hilton ' which is a outbuilding with enough beds to sleep 5. It's terrible. Dirty beds. Dirty floor. Old furniture suitable for the tip....

Had a wonderful/cold stay in winter in the camp ground when we were on the hunt for sapphires (and we got a heap) :) but had lunch in the hotel and was the best bowl of chips I have had in such a long time the facilities were great with a sheltered area and clean toilets and hot showers and...
