Currently closed, no known date for opening. The pub is not on the market as far as locals know. Has been closed since approx. Sept 2014. Contact the Pyewipe Inn Lincoln. When open this was a village pub with accommodation, parking, outside seating, accent on the food. No pool table/fruit machines/noisy music.

I recently stayed three nights whilst visiting friends, entrance to the rooms was via the rear door with kitchens on the left and store room on the right up a short flight of stairs, with a dirty carpet, dark wall, very uninviting. Then through the fire door to the 7 bedrooms, carpet not much better. Room was adequate, the two drinking...

Down side being extremely sticky tables, service or rather taking our order wasn't exactly swift considering very few diners on our...

On entering the Penny Farthing as signposted, you walk through the staff smoking area to be met by the kitchen with door propped open on one side and the chiller room with door propped open on the other. We stayed two nights and were served by inexperienced youngsters all the time, it showed in the standard of service. The bedroom...

We ate in the dining room for dinner. We did not stay at the accommodations, so this review is pertaining to the food and service. A reasonable selection of food on the menu, and a simple wine list. It was not busy (weeknight), so service was reasonably fast. Pleasant young staff. Main meals accompanied by steamed vegetables and new potatoes....
