The Solon Langworthy House is a newer establishment in upper Dubuque, but the owners have remodeled an old home and have made it a true home for travelers. The bottom floor room is the best, offering a large bed, tv, leisure room and jacuzzi tub. All amenities are provided, which sets off the whole experience. I found my stay to...

We enjoyed a peaceful night in a restored home. Very cozy! Loved the new touches too, perennials made me wish I lived her. My husband and I found the home easily too. Liked all the houses in the neighborhood!! One thing....please add a mirror to the bedroom part. Thanks!

Cannot speak highly enough of the Solon Langworthy House, what a wonderful place. We were lucky enough to be the only people staying here so had complete privacy in the Master Suite which occupies the whole upper floor. We arrived to find all the instructions for our stay taped to the banisters (brilliant touch) and although we never saw our...

The first thing I noticed as we pulled up to the B&B was that the façade didn't look well cared for. It was made up for on the inside; the highlight was the large, 2-person soaking tub. My boyfriend and I go to B&B's a lot. Although I don't really care for the "forced" conversation with strangers at the breakfast...

First, you will have complete privacy in this B&B! No annoying calls from a front desk, no one stopping by your room and only other guests in the common kitchen area. We arrived to find a very welcoming note on our door, the thermostat (which is in the entry way as this was originally a single family civil war era...

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary as we were also attending my sisters college gradation in town, and I have to say we were very happy with our stay! We were in the room on the ground floor which was just awsome! The decor was new and more trendy then one would expect in a b&b. They...

Very impersonal. It seems to be a work in progress. Many unfinished projects. Make your own breakfast. Never meet your hosts....even when checking in. There's a reason they're rated lowest in the area. We arranged to check in early, only to arrive with no access to the house. We immediately called the owners. Our phone calls were finally returned 4...

My husband and I have stayed here for 3 years in a row now and will certainly be back! This is just the B&B we were looking for. We didn't want an awkward B&B with an Inn Keeper and have it feel like we are invading their home. I love this place because we can come and go as we...

We arrived to find a note taped to the door of our room with instructions for our stay. The room was FREEZING and there was no thermostat available for adjustment. We called both contact numbers listed on the note, and received voice mails. We left message on voice mail for return call and continued to search for a thermostat finding...

The place looks very rundown from the outside. Inside is not too bad, but needs a lot of tlc. The room was fine, and the bathtub was great. My issue was that we never ever saw the inn keeper. There was a letter taped to out door with information about house, wifi code, front door code ect. I heard someone...
