Just stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel. The room seemed fine other than the couch looked like it had seen better days and the table felt sticky. The bedding was fine other than the pillows were really flat. My main concern was that the internet was down for 2 days "due to weather" they said. Ir seemed really strange...

My mother and I stayed at the Van Buren while visiting Shipshewana. It was located at the edge of town in a very peaceful and quiet setting. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel also had a very pleasant sitting area in the hotel lobby with additional comfortable setting outside on a covered porch. Daily we enjoyed a...

This is a lovely motel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are sooo comfortable! The breakfast was very nice - motel standard - but lacked some fresh fruit. Close to the center of town, and the auction barn, not walking distance, probably a mile or two away.

If you don't mind a 40 minute drive to South Bend this is the perfect hotel. The rooms are very well kept and the Amish furnishings are comfortable and very attractive. The rooms are clean and up to date. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast is above average. We will stay here on every trip to...

The check in experience was terrible. The young woman at the desk was unwilling to accommodate my request even though it was the result of a hotel error. The manager was "in a meeting" and therefore wouldn't address my concerns. Although several people were checking in around 2:45 pm this woman refused to give out any keys until 3:00 on...

We arrived to signs in the lobby, welcoming our group of 50 people. The hotel was fully booked, but had my 25 room cards ready at 12:30 so we could stop by and pick up the cards prior to our afternoon activities in Shipshewana. We had nice-sized rooms, comfortable beds, and a wonderful breakfast.

We have stayed at the Van Buren Hotel several times before. Last Saturday, we were surprised and disappointed at the poor customer service that was delivered! First, the fire alarm went off at around 1am. We understand that this happens, sometimes. The next morning, however, the whole breakfast experience was terrible! The juice machine was broken, the coffee machine was...

After many nice stays after ND football games, the last stay was really, really bad. Fire alarm went off three times (once at 2am). Much breakfast equipment (waffle maker, coffee machine) was not working. We asked for someone to call us to discuss, but no one did and no one really seemed to care about the lack of quality. A...

We booked this hotel on 9/2/16 through Expedia. On 9/16/16 we called the hotel to advise we would be checking in late on 9/17/16. We gave them our itinerary, booking information and they stated there was no reservation for us. I explained we had book through Expedia and our confirmation of the booking had been received. They stated Expedia did...
