Owner just have the right attitude, great people. Sites are a little tight but well maintained. They pickup your garbage and check on you for the quality of your site. Nice place to stay only 2 miles off the interstate. Well worth the money

We found this campground while driving cross country and stopped for the night. Glad we did, it was a very nice campground. We realized when grumpy people pulled in next to us that we were in a "buddy site", ok for 1 night or if you are traveling with friends. Everyone else we met was very friendly. We walked the...

It was very dark and hard to find at 1/2 HR past sunset. The flyer they left me was in a very buggy box at the front. Just snatched it and ran. The site they gave me was at and angle and my neighbor was sticking out so much I really got a workout with no power steering trying to...

Excellent well maintained campground. Easy to get to from I-70. Small fenced in area for dogs to run which after a long drive they can stretch their legs without being on a leash. Level sites with cable and Internet. Only downside is noise from I70. Nice staff. We traveled in a 36' motor home with tow vehicle and fit on...

We spent 2 nights on different days in September. We stayed in a pull through water, electric, cable television site near the small lake on the property. It is a well maintained park and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The interstate traffic noise takes a little getting used to but we like this stopover. Will definitely stay here...

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the campground. When we arrived Keith escorted us to our site. The grounds are immaculate, park-like with level sites and concrete pads, table and BBQ pit, cable and wifi. The sites are at least 30 feet across, with many pull-thrus. There is a lake as well. The owners Keith and Bonnie...

Richmond KOA is an older park, but the owners (Keith & Bonnie) are ever present and very caring. We've stayed at other KOA's that were much newer but not as well maintained. There was a mixup with our rate and Bonnie had it corrected immediately (Keith walked the new receipt over to our campsite). Both she and Keith are on...

My sister and I made a reservation and wanted to cancel it because it was raining and there was a severe lightning storm around. No refund, or even half refund. No credit for another KOA. They wouldn't even look up the weather for us. Very insensitive.

This was our first stay at a KOA. We stayed in a deluxe 6 person cabin. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids in July 2015. We had a great time and defiantly want to return. Pros: 1. The cabin was clean. 2. The cabin was spacious. There was a queen bedroom, a bunk room to sleep 2 kids...

Spent two nights here, learning how to handle our new 5th wheel camper. Clean facilities, all the amenities we needed, well stocked store, friendly camp owners with helpful suggestions. Layout of the sites allowed for views without feeling like trailer-city, including level sites and shade trees for every site. Regular patrolling of campground prevented issues seen in other places. Definitely...
