Tranquil, 2km off the main road. Rooms enormous, breakfast nice. Had the dinner which they do not advertsie, $35 for 3 course and quite good, recommended but there is no choice: Vegetable soup with rolls (delicious), salmon with vegetables (very good), berry tart with cream (ok, pastry too hard). Downside was no private and not even an allocated bathroom, so...

Vince and Alison are great hosts and provide a lovely house/home and rooms. Their recently acquired Roslyn House B&B is a work-in-progress; the location and hosts can't be beat. Stay tuned for the renovation and take advantage of the proximity to Mt Field and in-development prices while possible. A historic home originally built by the leading forefather of the state...

A wonderful, historic grand family home now run as a B&B by wonderful hosts,Vince and Ali. Although Vince and Ali have only run this establishment for 18 weeks all went very smoothly. It is friendly and comfortable. At present there are only 21/2 shared full shower rooms but this is off set by the provision of large fluffy gowns and...

A little off the beaten track, just far enough to be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful, rural surrounds but close to some wonderful attractions, including Mt Field National Park. The restored, 19th century farm house is very comfortable, the welcome warm and the facilities are excellent. Shared meals with other guests and swapping travel tips...

Both the new owners were the best hosts we have ever had. This was my first B&B experience and I loved it. It's a quick drive over to Mount Field National Park(Russell Falls). Amazing Breakfast, excellence service, a big bedroom in a historic house from the 1850s located on a farm. Bathrooms are shared but there are plenty to choose...

We stayed here for one night recently and enjoyed our time immensely. Our hosts were magnificent and even though we arrived late in the afternoon, Catherine still whipped up a delicious three-course meal for us. Lovely. The rooms were what you would expect of an 1850s farmhouse. Cosy and welcoming. A separate dinner room was also very nice, and breakfast...

We had a lovely night here recently. We had transport problems on our way ( SNOW ) and looked at one stage we would not make it. The owner said no worries ,no cost if you cant get here. We finally made it. Huge bedroom, with a separate bathroom down the hall. That's ok as they provide lovely bath robes....

The house and land is a picture book setting in the country. Lovely old house with lots of character. Catherine and Alistair have been hosting the B&B for a while and they are very good at it. Friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable of the local area and history and quite willing for a good chat if that is what you want. The...
