We stayed at the Abbey for our anniversary. We could only escape the real world for a few days. The Abbey was the perfect escape!!!! Upon arrival, we were greeted by their friendly staff and informed that the room we reserved had some issues, so they upgraded us to a suite. Now, that is always nice but when you reserve...

My wife and I decided to spend our 2-year anniversary in the Abbey Inn's Apple Cabin. I had tried to book another property managed by Abbey Inn, but it was full. The person on the phone said their Apple Cabin was available. I asked if it was similar, namely, was it separate from other buildings and was it secluded. They...

On March 26th my fiance surprised me with a romantic getaway for my birthday, we spent two nights @ the Abbey Inn. The first night was alright, there was an odd odor in our room and the drains smelled like sewage, but nothing too bad. So the next morning we put the "service room" sign on the door, we thought...

My husband and I go away every year together in the spring. We chose the Abbey inn this year because it sounded a lot more romantic. The room was very nice, very clean. Our hot tub worked well, and the bed was very comfortable. Our first night we were very warm, so the next morning we mentioned something to the...

I stayed at the Abbey Inn over a weekend with my wife. The room was nice and clean and the hot tub worked well. I would rate the room average because I felt the room should have had a second chair and ottoman to make watching TV comfortable. In addition, there was some a samll amount of peeling paint on...

I reserved a room at the Abbey to celebrate my birthday. Desk service was prompt and courteous. We stayed in the Dogwood room. It is located on the back side of the building facing the parking lot/pond. There is a small balcony with a bench outside of the bedroom. The bed was comfy with nice soft sheets, everything was in...

We spent three nights in the Iris room mid-Nov 2011. We were upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. The facility is a converted home vintage 1970’s though one would easily guess late 1800s, early 1900. It is well maintained but not everything is new which may put off some folks who might be looking for new "everything". It is used...

Our first stay was wonderful in the Ivy room in November 2010. We returned to Abbey Inn in October 2011 and stayed in the Magnolia room. This is where my fiance proposed to me. Unfortunately, the fireplace did not work and not all of the jets in the hot tub were working. We notified the front desk and nothing was...

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful nights in the Iris room and loved it. We spent our days hiking in Brown County and it was so relaxing to return to the room in the late afternoon and soak in the hot tub before dinner, then in front of the fireplace after. The staff attended to any ( few) needs...
