We stayed 1 night here in the main house, which is wooden & delightful. Had the large front room with several floor to ceiling windows, opening on to the verandah. Fab gardens, wonderful views over to Les Saintes and surprisingly good food. All handled by only 2-3 staff (the chef doubles as porter, receptionist etc). Excellent breakfast & good pool....

The view was fantastic, the food innovative and based on local ingredients, and the attention paid by the manager warm and personalized. It was fun to chat with other guests over the lovely dinners in the intimate dining room, look out over the sea...

Combine breathtaking views, a historic property, and a talented staff (including a classically-trained chef) and you've discovered Le Jardin Malanga. At the southern end of the island of Basse Terre, travelers can either relax and unwind in a private setting or hustle off to hike volcanos, visit distilleries, discover great beaches, hop a boat to another island, or explore the...

Beautiful setting, great food, friendly service makes the Jardin Malagnga an ideal base for exploring Basse Terre. The rooms are comfortable except for the sisal carpet which is not great for bare feet. Breakfast is perfect, the managers are friendly and accomomodating and the view down over the sea and up to the mountains never gets old.

Le Jardin is a very special place, with a great view and great management. Very attentive and helpful. The place is hard to describe but offers you everything for a couples getaway. It has an elevated position and is about a 10 minute drive into the city center of Trois Rivieres, which is basically shut down at night. The view...
