Lori is an amazing cook and hostess (we only met Arnie on check-in). Gave us great recommendations for things to do and the Amish Room was very comfortable. The electric fireplace in our room was charming and gave off just enough heat to take the chill off after a wet and cold October weekend.

Great location to all the areas of enjoying Amish country. But the best is the hospitality of Lori and Arnie. Fabulous breakfasts! Hospitality plus! Lori is warm and filled with wonderful information about the area. If you like great B & B's put this one on your list!

This is our second visit. We were married in this historic, beautiful home and I still can't think of a more perfect environment. If you enjoy historic homes, lovely proprietors, great food and a central location you will enjoy Country Victorian. We liked the logistics to many antique shops, Shipshewana, Essenhaus and, unexpectedly, an I.U. Health Center Hospital. My husband...

So glad you enjoyed your second visit! Thank you for your glowing review! We appreciate our guests taking the time to review us and are so happy to hear about their experiences! So sorry you had a hospital visit! What a pain-but it's good to know that the ER was able to take care of you and that it didn't...

Charming B&B, elegant, yet comfortable. Lori and Arnie were gracious hosts. Rates much more reasonable than many B&Bs we have stayed in. This property has a back gate which leads out to the Pumpkinvine Trail, a rails to trails project that winds through Indiana's Amish country. Very pleasant for early morning walks or bike rides. The bed in the English...

This was a three day stay for us and it felt as secure and comfortable as home. Lori and Arnie have done a fine job in getting all the details right in this B&B. There was more of a social atmosphere at the breakfast table than in most B&Bs, and the wonderful food will remembered too. We highly recommend this...

We had to revise our travel plans and found this charming place less than a week before leaving on vacation. How fortunate we were to get a reservation on such short notice. This lovely home provided a relaxing spot to enjoy Amish country close up. Our room was newly decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches to make us feel...

We were coming for the Shipshewana Quilt Show and didn't want to stay at a hotel. After researching area B&Bs we chose Country Victorian Inn. It was fabulous! Lori and Arnie are very gracious hosts. It's obvious from the start that they know this business. From the immaculate rooms with every amenity (including robes and slippers) to the delicious breakfast,...

Relaxing, comfortable, excellent breakfast, and knowledgable proprietors. Lori and Arnie know how to treat guests. The bed and breakfast is right in Amish Country with the buggies clippity clacking past the front porch.

My girlfriend and I have stayed here several times and are never disappointed. We have always stayed in the Amish Room which is very pretty and comfortable with TV and fireplace and many handy amenities. Any one booking this room should be aware that the shower is very small. But the rest of the experience more than makes up for...

really a very pretty, and CLEAN B&B close to Shipshewana. Stayed in the Serenity Room which was nicely decorated with a new, impeccable en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were warm and hospitable. Would definitely recommend.

“We stayed in the English room on the first floor, a spacious comfortable room with a whirlpool tub/shower. We were shown the other rooms on the second floor which are all charming rooms. The Serenity is very spacious with a sitting area and a walk-in rain shower. The showers are smaller in the other two second floor rooms. Three rooms have queen beds. With advance notice the Amish Room can be configured as either two twins or a king bed. The rooms in the back of the home have a view of the garden. The front rooms look out on Main Street where you can hear the clip-clop of buggies.”
