My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip to visit family. The hotel was nice and cozy, and I really don't have anything negative to say. It wasn't overwhelmingly nice, but it wasn't bad either. The beach is a block or two away, which is very convenient, and the bar looked like a fun place, but I didn't...

We enjoy the Duneland Beach Inn. We've stayed there multiple times, as we enjoy walking 2 blocks to the beach, and having the bar and restaurant so handy. The clientele in the bar always makes it feel like old home week, and striking up a conversation is easy. But it seems they do everything possible to make us dislike the...

We can only afford to go to Duneland Beach in once in awhile, so we visit on special occasions. This week we had the pasta special and grilled halibut entrees. Just outstanding! The food is properly prepared, and service is efficient but not rushed. There were some bees around in the patio dining area, but it's shady and pleasant. Bee...

My husband and I reserved this room for 2 nights in July. First, the room ad a jaccuzzi tub which was nice, but that was the end of it. The room was filled with down feathered items which I am highly allergic to, including a feather mattress topper, due to it being an old bed. Luckily we caught this before...

Stepping up to this remodeled vintage Inn, I feel welcome and as tho I am walking in a neighbor's front door. Warm oak wood and natural finishes are relaxing and just elegant enough to make it a special place. The Inn has a full American menu restaurant with an effiicient, young wait staff. The bar room seats a cozy few...

We came for dinner without a reservation on a Thursday. They were full and had two large parties in other rooms. They said they couldn't accept any walk-ins. We asked if we could sit at the bar and order. They said yes. Todd was the bartender that night. Todd was courteous and efficient. He was also busy, VERY busy. We...

I haven't stayed in the Inn but it's generally our first stop on our way over to Harbor Country- a well-made cocktail and wonderful meal await! They offer seasonal specials along with their signature Prime Rib and Fried Chicken- but only on special days, so be advised. Well prepared meals and a focus on making sure their customers are happy,...

We stayed here for a "girls weekend getaway". The inn is located in a beautiful setting and this inn incredible potential for being a fabulous quiet getaway. However, we experienced nothing but problems from the moment of checking in. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable in one of the rooms that my mom was up all night....it was so...

We stopped for a very pleasant overnight on our way across Indiana. Off season and mid-week the price was reasonable. After a day of driving we enjoyed our stay in this small renovated 1940s inn with a restaurant on site. The room was was not beautiful but the bed was quite comfortable. Our room had only a tiny shower and...
