We stayed at Vistara resort for One night with our 1 year old son and it was a truly memorable weekend for us. The location of the resort is near to the Karapuzha Dam Lake and the morning & evenings are really good for the scenery. Rooms are very spacious and neat & tidy. Food was tasty too and our little one didn’t have any problem with the stay or the food. The Hospitality of the resort was exceptional, esp with Mr Bijo PM , who made things very easy for us. Room service, Restaurant service everything was on time and nicely arranged. Pool was also neatly maintained and the lesser depth areas were really good for the kids to enjoy.
Last and not the least, I has a surprise birthday party arranged by the hotel team which made our stay more memorable. I would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Wayanad with family or friends. And the considering the hospitality of these resort staff, it is well deserved 10/10 !!!

Hi ! I am pleased to share my wonderful experience of very enjoyable and comfortable stay at the luxury villa suite in Vistara Resort. The location of the resort is ultimate and it’s frontside views of lake and mountain are very stunning and so refreshening. Cleanliness at resort was very good. Resort is very beautiful and aesthetically designed. The ambience of Vistara Resort is so peaceful and serene, making it very ideal for a leisure stay with family and friends. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very professional, courteous and welcoming, food was exotic with rich variety in menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Housekeeping service was excellent. I had a memorable 3 nights stay with my family at the Resort from 6-9 January 2021 and look forward to visit it again soon. Really impressed with the location and hospitality of the property..Rooms were extremely spacious.Rooms,which we stayed even had a private space with no disturbance.. The lakeside view is one of the top-notch point about the property. Another point I'd like is to say is that resort is completely safe and following covid protocol most efficiently. We were one of the earliest guests to visit the resort post unlocking. The resort has taken all the safety measures as regards to checking, screening, sanitizing etc. The place and facilities are simply beautiful. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Overall a very memorable visit for us. Guys, keep up the good work.

Vistara resort in Waynad - a beautiful location for a quiet holiday ! We drove down to the location in our vehicle and that was helpful for us . The family Room by the garden was booked by us - it definitely was not as seen in the picture but was clean and met our needs . The view from the resort is amazing . Natural beauty is what we enjoyed here . Staff were helpful . We enjoyed the breakfast spread . Dinner had to be ordered 30 to 40 mins in advance for them to get it ready . It was okay & definitely has scope for improvement.The room had hot water supply at all times , linens were changed daily . The internet never worked in our rooms . We were told there was some issues with it but we were able to manage on our cell phone connections . The tv didn’t work for us for two days for some reason but when we informed this to the team , it was rectified . There’s scope for some improvement with some small furniture work in the room which I am sure the management is aware of . For us as a family it was a good break at Vistara as we enjoyed walking & driving around the place .

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was awesome. Had a good stay with my family. Location is superb. Staff is very friendly and did everything they can to feel comfortable. Specially at the time of dinner, arranged special tables for the family and changed curtains to save the kids from the cold wind. Food served fast and hot. Pool is neat and clear. Thanksxto all vistara staff especially for Bijo. Will visit again.

Located overlooking the lake, this beautiful resort is the best find for a relaxing getaway. We visited for a short outing with our kid and thoroughly enjoyed the property and the hospitality. We stayed in sky villa and had the best view of lake and private terrace with a seperate balcony as well. The cottage and decor were very similar to simple aesthetic architecture you get to see in Kerala. Morning view of the lake is beautiful and continues to show its beauty as the day progresses and gives you a sense of calmness. Definitely a visit for a relaxing outing. Food was made to order and the taste was very good. As we visited to celebrate an occasion, staff there really helped in planning the same. The breakfast buffet was a mix of Kerala authentic dishes, continental and mix of both south and north Indian breakfast choices. I simply loved the hospitality here. All were very friendly including the restaurant staff. Have to mention Bijo who helped with planning birthday and also with any requests we had and always with a smile. Resort also has indoor activities like table tennis, carrom, chess and option of badminton as well. Pool was available for use but use cautiously during Covid. You can visit the dam which is less than 2 Kms from resort and take a walk on the beautiful walkway, some adventure activities like zipline and also kids have some fun activities like trampoline park, house shaped slides etc. Totally, a very well maintained beautiful resort for a calm and relaxing stay.

The hotel is decent but not worth the expense what it lacks in facilities or professionalism, the staff valiantly tries to make up with their hard work and pleasantness. The lake view villa ( the most expensive room here) partly overlooked a wasteland. The Veg options were v limited though the staff tried to prepare a separate Veg curry. Music kept blaring in your room till late at night interfering with the serenity of the surroundings. They had a live band that was fairly good. The bed linen was stained and dirty and the wifi wasn't working. They provided a dongle that worked sometimes to help fix it. Manager is very personable but this is not a very professional set up.

We chose this resort against others in the area due to its presentation on the web, but very disappointed. The place is just average and resembles a start up company trying to establish themselves. They have a new, enthusiastic GM who recently joined them. The staff are great and trying hard, but the place lacks basic facilities. The internet facilities are poor and the facilities in the room. They have to maintain the little outdoor area and equip themselves with proper indoor games facilities. The food is just average . Also the access to the facility was blocked by roadwork from the local council. Our driver was also not adequately catered for.
Overall they have long way to go, but they are trying. Good luck,
