Checked in and was told "15% non refundable if we didn't keep the reservation. After seeing the dimly light, poorly appointed room and the practically abandoned/creepy setting, and mattress that looked saggy and OLD, we checked out immediately! Of course she re-iterated the 15% fee, which is crazy because its not like we kept anyone else from checking in, NO...

We seriously question the validity of this review. We have not had anyone in recent memory leave immediately upon arrival. A red flag to us about this review is the quote about 'weird massage' rooms. 2 years ago, we had a spa located in our lower level. It has been fully renovated into guest rooms and no one would know...

First off, yes, this hotel is gorgeous! The dining area and the library look perfectly kept from another area. It's great for photos, and there are so many interesting little corners all over. The bad... I got one of the smaller rooms with shared bathrooms downstairs. The room is REALLY small, which is not too bad because I travel light....

Made a reservation for a specific room for my wife and me - we should have realized when we were asked to make a reservation to pick up the key. They told us staff are not there all the time so we had to make a reservation to get key – we did for 1pm and when we got there...

Our front desk is staffed at the Inn at the Villa around the clock. We do not require an appointment to pick up a key. We do ask guests for an arrival time to accommodate- as much as possible-early arrivals. In other words, our housekeepers clean rooms in order of arrival times. The guest simply arrived prior to the room...

we had 6 people in 3 rooms last weekend and came looking for coffee on sunday at 730 when an abrupt desk clerk said 'breakfast isnt until 8". we'd been told coffee would be available at 7 (vs. round the clock in most B&Bs) but the self serve only had decaf packets and the water was lukewarm. i asked if...

Sorry to hear from the confusion about coffee. We do have a Butler's Pantry at all of our properties with coffee available around the clock. Sorry again for any confusion.

Short version: quaint building, good potential, but dingy and dusty with a lack of attention to the details like corners of rooms, customer convenience, or present day amenities. Bathrooms are separate from sleeping quarters - staff is a mixed bag. My bedroom was small, with no really seating or work area. Wifi was spotty in the room. Free breakfast is...

The building housed a spa that closed 2 years ago and a restaurant over 4 years ago. How would a guest know that unless they were actively trying to besmirch our name? Please read the other fabulous reviews on this site. Thank you.

The Villa Inn was a wonderful place to stay for our 20th anniversary. We stayed in Stanza 3 on the 2nd floor of the main house. The staff were friendly & welcomed us always with a smile and kind words. The entire home was something to marvel at, very appealing and very clean throughout. Plenty of hot water for the...
