I frequently book the Fountainview in for business guests, and so far it has been well loved by everyone that stays! Now, when you make your reservation... you will be warned! They pretty much try to talk you out of staying here! "It is under a bowling alley, no room service, you have to call ahead to pick up the...

We truly felt like we had our own little loft apartment in an up & coming neighborhood. I wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights, 2 days. There is so much to do within walking distance. The building staff were pleasant, and the room was very clean. I like that they do not bother you with maid service....

We had a little trouble booking the room, but finally got it done. The rooms are on the third floor of the building and the floor is secure. Our suite had a kitchen, sitting room and bedroom with a queen size bed. It was nicely furnished with antiques. The small couch in the sitting room had back cushions that made...

The rooms are very large and comfortable. this is not your average hotel, as there is no check-in counter or anything like that. You get the keys to your room and a few instructions, and that's about it. It is located in an old building with a mid-century elevator. But the beds are large and comfortable and the rooms really...

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Fountainview in late January. I was trying to find a hotel near Fountain Square neighborhood - and stumbled on this one. It was a brilliant discovery. This is a very quirky neighborhood that is really on the upswing. And now they have hotel that is the perfect match - a little...

We booked to be close to a Thai restaurant and discovered a most beautiful building of an America from days of Prosperity, Grand scale of design and confidence so far removed from the poverty pack now associated with American downtowns. The rooms are an eclectic mix of 70s, modern contemporary and el cheapo Home Depot, clean and tidy, a TV...

My husband, brother, son and my son friend stayed after the sweet sixteen game. No hotels were available in the downtown area. My husband said it worked perfect. He parked in front of the building. They took a 5 minute cab ride to and from the game. No parking fee at the hotel. They ate a a BBQ place downstairs...

Our son & his new wife were married on Friday, April 5th 2013 and had their reception at the Fountain Square Theater. My husband and I, along with other members of the bride's family decided to stay in the suites at the Fountainview Inn for the convenience of not driving home after the reception (open bar). I must admit I...

You're not going to find the Fountainview Inn with your typical search sites like Kayak or Hotels.com. This unique gem can only be found by knowing what you're looking for. Located in the renewed Fountain Square neighborhood, the Fountainview occupies the third floor of a building that also contains two restaurants and a bowling alley. There are only 10 rooms....
