Blood on sheets & cigarette holes. Mattress needed to be vacuumed. Sticky countertops. Tub wouldn’t drain so you had to stand in ankle deep water. Lock on door was ready to fall off. Smoke detector was disabled and dangling on the wall. Second floor room, the window was haphazardly “frosted” but wouldn’t close all the way so we just left it open for ventilation. There was only one towel in the room, we had to ask for more. Place smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Only highlight was a very kind & helpful front desk attendant who was having a horrible time with people cancelling their stays once they saw the place. Paid $100 for the room - I didn’t expect the Ritz Carlton but do think it could have been better. Once we remade our own bed & used a second fitted sheet for an extra barrier, it was a place to lay our heads for a short night during a multi day road trip.

Ok but need to improve. A $2.99 disinfectant spray, on the sheets & in the room helped. The price needs to reflect not serving breakfast. I Thank you for calling me to inform of King room not being available.

I like the staff and I feel that the rooms could use new carpet or just remodel the rooms a little bit. I checked in with William which he was cool. He was very detail about everything and I love the fact that they welcome pets and even give them treats. So update rooms and ya'll would be A1 sauce

No breakfast, no housekeeping service, and both ice machines broken all three nights I stayed. If it had not been Indy 500 weekend and all other hotels full, I would not have stayed more than one night. The room smelled of bug spray and the carpets and towels were stained. Front desk clerk was unable to provide clean hand towels and wash cloths. My first floor window lock was broken and instead there was a shattered broom handle jammed in the window track. No mini fridge, no microwave. Broken syringes in the parking lot. My brother had a reservation for one night during my three night stay. When he arrived, he was told that “the manager canceled your reservation” but that there was one room available for $200. My brother’s reservation was for $100. My brother didn’t give into the scam and he left. Complete dishonesty on the part of the hotel.

We stayed there a few times in the past but this time was the worst. at the check in, there was a women yelling at somebody, cussing, using inappropriate words and my young child had to hear that. but the staff did not care, no intervention. In the room, we found male hair on the sink but we were like "we cannot clean everything perfect" so we just let it go. However, later the night, I noticed that inside the towel, there were lots of male hair but it was already late night and I was scared to go out of the room or have someone to come in the room to bring something or even move to other room in the middle of the late night. so we just decided to be patient. Then after midnight, we got cold and we realized that AC/Heater was broken. when we tried to take a shower, we realized that there was only one towel with someone's hair. No breakfast available although it was advertised that they would have. we also found some blood stain on the pillow. We were done, SO DONE. I asked a receipt but the front desk did not know how to print it out. the manager would not come until 11am so I asked them to tell the manager to email me but he never did. If I can give zero rating, I would. the worst place to stay.

I was wondering why I was sneezing during my 3 night stay at La Quinta on Washington in Indianapolis. As you can see by the photos, I believe it was the dusty conditions of the room and bathroom. The fan vent in the bathroom was very dirty and the dust on the lamps were also in need of cleaning. I know that the hotel is under renovations and that the rooms were the first to be repaired. However, even during this time, the areas need to be dusted at least once a month. As you can see by the vent, it’s been longer than that since it has received a cleaning.

Dirty. First room we were put in the toilet didn’t work, the light flickered like it had a short, burn holes everywhere. We were given another room and it was already occupied by a guest we walked in on. The third room had splatter all over the walls, sticky stained floors, roof had a leak at some point and was falling in. The hotel parking lot is riddled with pot holes, trash, and meth heads. The website says free continental breakfast, they have several signs telling their breakfast hours including one of those boards you put your own letters in by the front desk that says it. I went down for breakfast and they said they weren’t doing it because of covid, it is going on a year and a half and you all can’t even change your sign to welcome or something?. Not that I would have used it another guest asked to use the workstation computer and they were told it was broken. I can honestly say this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I always stay at La Quinta’s and always felt I get my money’s worth except this time.

Don’t stay here! Our group had three reservations and when we arrived, we were told that one reservation had been cancelled and they only had one room left at double the price. The carpet in the room was filthy with a large red stain that looked as if it could have been blood. There were cigarette burns in the blanket, we had one towel and they only had a hand towel to give us. No phone in the room, no breakfast, a broken security lock on the door, no working ice machines and mold on the shower curtain and on the shower walls. Stay here only as a last resort! We definitely would not stay here again.

This hotel needs major upgrades and pest control. Also need to check after cleaning staff to make sure everything that goes in the room is in the room, towels, blankets etc. I had double beds and one of the beds didn’t have a blanket in it. There were no towels or face towels in the room, only had towels and bath mats. There was only a half a roll of
Toilet paper in the bathroom and it had roaches.

Everything about the experience was subpar. Although signs were posted about wearing masks, the woman at the desk was not wearing a mask. The decor was way out of date, there were holes in the elevator walls, holes in the shower stall, the carpet in the room was stained beyond belief, the mattress was horrible, the surfaces looked like they had not been wiped down. This experience likely ended any possibility of us staying at La Quinta.
