The Drury Inn & Suites Indianapolis Northeast garners praise for its chic atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness, with guests frequently commending the pristine conditions of both rooms and common areas, including the inviting pool and hot tub. While enjoying the modern comforts of their rooms, some visitors have mentioned challenges with the fixed thermostat settings.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
We needed a place to stay while on a road trip preferable near restaurants offering good take-out menus. This was our first visit to a Drury Inn. Although the price was a little more than the typical mid-level motels we usually patronize, it was worth it.
Staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. Facility very clean, nicely designed, very comfortable. With the complimentary cocktail and snacks and the buffet breakfast included our stay was not actually more expensive than our typical choices.
Bedding was so nice we inquired about the brand. Disappointed to learn they were customer-made for Drury. From now on our trip planning will prioritize finding convenient Drury locations.

Preface: As a precaution, I wiped down each room with Lysol wipes and disinfected each room during road trip bookings.
We were guests in this hotel on 3/31/2021.
Upon arrival, concierge was a professional and accomodating gentleman. There was an issue of the hotel giving our room to another guest that I was not happy about.
However, he remedied the situation quickly and beyond satisfaction.
Our room was spotless from top to bottom! Housekeeping is taken seriously here. There wasn't a spot anywhere, not even on the thermostat.
This was the only hotel out of four that was super-clean and that I felt confident and comfortable
enough to sleep well. My family and I actually slept later than we expected to.
This was also the only hotel out of the four we booked that stayed stocked with hand sanitizer throughout the facility.
The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right.
Finally, the room was quiet despite being booked next to the elevator.
We actually wanted to stay another night but the hotel was still fully booked. We will definitely return here in the near future.

We found Drury Inn within the last year, and are truly impressed by their quality and attention to detail. It is so consistently good that this is the third inn we've stayed at within that year! In addition to being pet friendly, which so many hotels are NOT anymore, there is a daily evening drink (and if you want it be) dinner buffet. As we had dinner reservations, we didn't have time to partake at this particular inn. I'm sure it would have been as good as the buffet we had at a nearby dinner theater.
Staff has never been anything but exceptional, and they were this time too. Public areas of the hotel was very clean, the pool looked lovely, gym equipment was varied and looked well maintained, and our room was spotless and comfy. I specifically enjoy the large on-the-wall shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers that allow you to have a generous shower/bath if you so choose without contributing more plastics to our world-wide pollution problems.
I hope to be able to stay at more of these wonderful Inns in the future. I will be sure to look for them whenever I travel, and will follow them as they expand their market.

Drury offers big pluses. One, there is option for rooms that are suites, so we could have privacy when traveling with our granddaughter. The sofabed in the living room also gave us a room to have a snack or play games at night. The other big plus is meals. Drury provides breakfast, and not just cold cereal and waffles. And they offer dinner with enough variety to please you over 2-3 days. It should be pointed out that most chains have discontinued food, ostensibly because of COVID, but really because it is an expense and hassle. Drury is making it work. Depending on what you want to do in Indy, this location is 15-20 minutes from the heart of the city but in an area of other restaurants, drugstore, national chains. Biggest drawback is the pool. Extremely small, an echo chamber for screaming (and unsupervised) kids. Kids jumping, etc. in the hot tub. We had to sign up for a specific hour to use the pool, then found that no one was checking when we went and everyone came and went as they pleased. A madhouse.

+1
We just stayed 3 nights and had a great experience here. We had a deluxe queen suite on the 2nd floor and our room was very spacious and clean. The only inconvenience is that we were in a handicap accessible room which didn’t have a bathtub and was a little difficult with two small kids. The room was very quiet. I never heard other guests or traffic noise from our room. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and we had them mostly to ourselves when we went down. The location was a little out of the way from the activities we were doing in downtown Indy but only a 20 minute drive. There is free breakfast (sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, muffins, cereal) and a free dinner offered every night. Red Robin is in the same parking lot and lots of options down the road. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel before. Then and on this trip the staff, especially Jeremy (the hospitality manager) took especial great care in the dining area to ensure each table of guests had all they wanted /desired to make their stay more comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and the staff takes seriously the covid Pandemic by ensuring the rooms are clean and up to standards. This hotel is close to St Thomas hospital (about a 10 minute drive across route 82 & 86). There are a also a host of resturants close by.

Arrived in town for the birth of my granddaughter. While the pandemic has effected travel and hotel stays, this Drury Inn has done it right. Guest required to wear mask, one family a time in elevator, breakfast served to guest in pleasantly spaced line. Choices include scrambled eggs biscuits sausage and gravy potatoes and oatmeal. Friendly service. Choice of juices coffee etc. The indoor/outdoor pool is open - make a timed reservation and enjoy. Such a nice day we stayed outside.
Clean and beautiful. Thank you Drury Inn it takes a special place to make travel enjoyable and worry free this summer.

In town for a convention and stayed at the hotel for two weeks. Between the garbage piled up in the elevator lobby on my floor, including dirty diapers on the floor, kids running up and down the hallway, minivans of families hanging out in the hotel parking lot, this turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I've had.
Not sure what the story is here but my all means, avoid this property, I've stayed at Drury Inns in the past and have found them to be reasonable and decent properties. Unfortunately this location is far from acceptable and the owner of this property should revisit the hotel policies and safety and comfort of their guests.

Everything about the hotel was better than we expected. It may cost more up front but with the great breakfast and the happy hour meals, it more than made up for the price difference with cheaper hotels. The staff is always saying hello and asking if you need anything. One of the best places we have ever stayed at.

Things we liked:
It was very clean.
The food selection was good
Free popcorn was a nice touch.
Beds were comfortable.
Things we disliked:
The pool is too small, and a bit cold since it's connected to the outdoor pool. There were often 30-40 kids in the pool and you could barely walk, let alone swim.
There is only 1 set of elevators for a 9 story hotel. The line for the elevator was very long every time.
The power went out shortly while we were there. We were safely in our room but heard another family talking in the lobby that the elevator dropped while they were in it. I realize this could happen anywhere, but that's still frustrating and the power outage wasn't addressed at all. Who knows why it happened or if it could happen again?
The 2 room suite has issues with temperature. The bedroom gets very cold, while the living room is very hot. It's hard to get either room a reasonable temperature.
The main reason we cannot recommend this hotel though is that the worker during dinner kept yelling at kids while refilling the food. First, he was yelling at a kid to quit pumping the empty nacho cheese, because it needed refilled. The kid didn't hear him, so the worker stomped over and yelled at the kid for not waiting. Then the worker wanted to refill the salsa, and he shoved my autistic son out of the way with his arm and said "Can you please move?!" He never even said excuse me or asked us to move first or we would have. I tried to speak to the manager afterward, but there were 10 people in line to check in and the manager was working the desk all alone and was too busy to talk without me waiting in a very long line with 3 young kids. It is NEVER okay to put your hands on a minor.
I do feel bad for the workers. It is soring break and so very busy. It was very busy at dinner, and they were very short staffed. I understand being flustered, but you cannot push a minor out of the way, you simply say excuse me.
For this last reason, I cannot recommend the hotel. I could look past a small pool and a busy elevator, but that poor experience just ruined it all for us.
