Hotel's Favourite
We were in town for a large Wedding - so had multiple family members in town and staying at the Embassy North. The Hotel was completely full and very busy but everyone we interacted with were great. The most appreciated was Rachel Garzq the Operations Manager, who was absolutely fantastic and accommodating to our entire group. Even in the Hospitality business I've never dealt with such a pleasant and genuine individual that made everyone in our group feel like you were a guest in her home! The breakfast, the lobby, the check-in were all excellent but the exceptional hospitality shown to our group by Rachel in the midst of such a busy weekend, was memorable and well deserving of an Excellent Rating !!! Thank You Rachel your kindness was much appreciated by all.

On a recent trip from Florida to Illinois we chose this hotel to take advantage of Hilton's electronic key option in order to minimize our virus exposure during our visit. Upon entering the lobby we were surprised to see the entire lobby occupied by scaffolding in support of a major renovation project underway. Entering our room we noticed a strong smoke smell and returned immediately to the lobby where the desk clerk changed our room. While at the desk, we learned of the wine and beer reception starting at 5:30 and the procedure for obtaining breakfast in the morning. We would not have had this important information had the initial room not smelled of smoke.

Overall the experience was okay. Room was clean but bathroom was a bit dated. Enjoyed the cook to order omelettes that was included. Unfortunately, had noisy neighbors. Called the front desk at 3am but no answer after 30 rings. Also, as a Silver Member, I requested for additional water bottles when checking in. Staff indicated they're only allowed to provide two water bottles. Although she provided the bottles, I felt sleighted since I've been going to Hilton hotels a number of times over the years. Other Hilton hotels have provided unlimited bottles without having an attitude or stating what the policy was. For something that probably costs the hotel a few pennies for each bottle (we're talking Nestle Pure Life not Voss), having the staff indicate the water bottle policy was insulting. I'm like, really, you can't spare a couple more water bottles without giving me an attitude??? It left a rather unpleasant impression. That with the unresponsive front desk when I tried to reach them at 3am because the neighbor above me was blasting music in the middle of the night will have me looking elsewhere.

Incredibly disappointed to say this is the worst hotel stay my family has ever had. We stayed here in August 2 nights and were very impressed. We decided to drive the extra 15 minutes to this hotel from our destination this trip to stay here again. The room was dirty with stains on the carpet, chairs, and couch. The pool was dirty. The hallways turned into a racetrack at night with kids and adults yelling and running. The room next to us blared music and had a dance party which shook our wall starting at 9. The occupants screamed and rapped loudly. It seemed like there were a lot of groups that came to party in hotel rooms instead of using the hotel for travel. Called the desk multiple times to get the issue addressed. It is now 11 pm and our kids are still awake from the noise. They might as well stop renovating and putting money into this hotel if they are not going to clean the facility and monitor guests.
Do not stay at this hotel if you intend on getting any sleep. I would not stay here again even if it was free. Not only is this the worst Hilton we have ever stayed at, this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

The good is, location, comfortable beds, onsite bar/restaurant, great complimentary breakfast with made to order omelets and clean hotel. The rooms could use updating, but overall they were spacious and nice. The cons: Only 2 working elevators out of 4 and those barely worked. The hotel was extremely strict about outside food/drink in common areas. However, the second night they allowed other groups to bring in their pizza but refused to allow our group to have a few personal beverages. Not kid friendly at all - the security chases the kids and tells them they are not allowed in the hotel without a parent at all times. It is an open concept hotel - kids were visible to the parents at all times. Parents were in the bar/grill area spending money at the hotel but had to deal with our kids being harassed over nothing. They were going from room to room at a decent hour (before 10 pm) and being respectful not yelling, running etc. Instead of focusing so much energy on the kids - maybe security should have focused on finding who was smoking marijuana in their rooms that caused multiple rooms in our group to reek. One family had to move 2 floors down in the middle of the night it was so bad. Also, when asked to speak to a manager as we were leaving, the front desk attendant could not find one anywhere. We waited for 20 minutes and the manager never came. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites with and without youth sports and this one was by far the WORST. I will definitely be thinking twice before I book again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and primarily will only stay at Hilton hotels throughout my travels but I am extremely disappointed in this stay. When I arrived I asked the associate at the front desk if they had any rooms available that were located on the closest side of the building to the front desk because I am in a cast with a broken limb and it would require less walking. I was told that there were none and given a room at the furthest point in the building. When arriving in my room I noticed that it was unclean and I would prefer a balcony if possible. I was then moved to another room where not only were over half of the channels not available but the bedroom phone did not work. I was also not offered to have someone bring my keys but was told to walk back to the front desk to change them out with the first room change. When I called the front desk about the issues with the second room, maintenance was sent up to take a look and I was told that I should've never been moved to the room because they were already aware that the phone in the bedroom did not work. I am only offering 1 star for this stay for the transparency of the maintenance worker and he offered to move my things to the 3rd room change. He also informed me that there were several rooms that were available that were closer than the far room that I was originally placed in. The room was not clean in the slightest but changing rooms a 4th time was not an option. My final straw was when I came down to check out there were 2 ladies at the front desk that were having a personal conversation and treated me as if I was wrong for interrupting them. I was not greeted and advised I wanted to check out. The only thing spoken was "What room?". I proceeded to let her know and wanted to advise her of my name but she cut me off and just said "I got it." I walked out of the hotel with zero intention of returning. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone.

I am a frequent visitor to Indianapolis and found a hidden jewel that is in renovation. As a Hilton Diamond, I am always looking to maximize value while staying Hilton loyal. Embassy Suites are always among my favorite Hilton brands, especially due to the manager's reception and great breakfast.
As many Hilton properties, especially Hampton Inns, have reduced their breakfasts to a pathetic Grab and Go bagged cold breakfast, the Embassy at Indy North not only still manages a delicious (and safe) hot breakfast, the quality of service provided by the staff creates an even greater value- and while being less expensive than many other Hilton's in the area because of construction.
The staff makes me feel valued and appreciated. Dana is a rock star Embassy team member and they are fortunate to have someone so dedicated to client experience.
Thank you for your efforts and see you in a few weeks

We elected to stay here on our way from Florida to Wisconsin. We knew of the construction but were not dissuaded, knowing Hilton will do what is needed. The manager’s reception was held in a meeting room and we had pre-made snacks of Chex mix, pretzels and veggies and dip and salsa and chips. All very satisfying with a friendly bartender. We also ordered from the restaurant and the food was delivered to us while we were having our drinks. Great salad and a huge grilled chicken sandwich with ample fries. The breakfast was a pre-order check-off slip turned into the front desk the night before. Full selection of breakfast items and cooked eggs, pancakes, toast and other items . We needed to eat both meals in our room, but then we could watch the television. Front desk manager Michael was extremely accommodating and welcoming during check in. GO EMBASSY.

We had a fairly rough stay here. We are in town taking care of our grandkids, timing was terrible due to Indy 500, so all the hotels are full, including this one. We stayed three nights, very crowded with race folks.
We didn’t catch the comment on all the little papers they give you about ‘housekeeping upon request’ so when we returned to the room the first night, and found it not cleaned, I called and talked to reception. They stayed they would ‘add us to the list’ and that we could come to the front desk to pick up clean towels, coffee and cups. Well, second night; arrive back to room; still no cleaning. Just frustrating with overflowing trash cans, pile of dirty wash cloths and towels. And then having to go hunt down coffee and cups for the coffee maker.
The place is run down and dirty. I will add pics of the elevator and the sticky floor that wasn’t cleaned over the three day stay. Just gross.
The bath drain was VERY slow, so you stood in three inches of water to shower.
The bed was comfortable and the TV worked; so there was that. We appreciate the suite style so you have a separate living room.
Breakfast was watery scrambled eggs, but you could order an egg or omelette from
The chef (which we did the following two days). Selection was good, but we watched a kid (maybe 10) go thru the bread drawer piece by piece, handle it and put it back. Ick.

I would have rated this property a 2, but the front desk staff bumped it up a notch to a 3. The pros - rooms were quiet, bedroom and living room were spacious. The bed was made up nicely and the mattress was acceptable. Rooms were fairly clean with a TV in both the bedroom and living room. The free breakfast was very nice. And the front desk staff and maintenance was wonderfully friendly and responsive to concerns including a clogged bathtub, noisy toilet and the door keypad on two out of our three rooms malfunctioning such that we couldn't enter the room. However, the property has seen better days. It could use a pressure washing outside. There are concrete pieces of the decorative balcony that are crumbling. The bathroom is cramped and dated. When water is run into the vessel sink, it splashes into the floor. The furniture in the room is beat up from years of use and the lighting is on the dark side. There is a dorm fridge, but the freezer in all three of our rooms was completely frozen over so it was unusable. There are also these odd french doors on either side of door to one's hotel room. They have frosted glass on them so people cannot see in, though you can still see silhouettes through them. Another odd feature - the interior of the hotel is a courtyard that extends from the ground level to the glass ceiling. Would I stay there again - probably not, just because the rooms need updating. But a thumbs up for the staff.

Open I think 7 am to 10 pm. That was one of the things we loved about this place.
You want to stay at the Embassy Suites downtown Indianapolis for the Skywalk. This one is on the near north side and not near any convention center.
I don’t know.
