The seafood buffet was closed. Was not posted on their website. No room service. When I called to complain, I was hung up on. Pitiful. I won't be back. Worst service ever for a $200 a night room. I am sure nothing will be done.
Older looking property but looks clean. Staff were all friendly. Rooms were great and beds were comfy. Only rating it this high because of the hotel. The casino really sucked. Have played all over the country and this was the tightest I've ever seen. No beverage center and no waitresses either. wont return again
Had concert tickets for March 25th. Stayed at nearby hotel as a 24 hour shuttle to the resort was offered. Pickup was flawless then driver announced shuttle would only be available until 9:30 that evening. We knew concert and our gaming would be far later than that. Made a new plan to shuttle back to hotel between dinner and concert, get car, valet park and continue our evening. Called for shuttle at 7:15 to go get our car. No shuttle service for at least 30 minutes. Forced to walk back to hotel in cold pouring rain, get car drive back-oh wait- no valet either!! Scramble for parking rush to concert. Discover 30-50 people like us could not access tickets on phone as venue has spotty wifi. The have a dedicated desk and employee to assist so they know this is a frequent issue. Fix the wifi instead!!!!! Because of these issues I will not be returning. These were the amenities I needed. Offered-yes, provided-no!…
My husband and I visit Belterra often and usually have decent luck at the machines. The casino is well maintained and clean. I often spot housekeeping removing empty bottles and beverages from the floor. The staff has always been very friendly and the bartenders who are definitely overworked still flash a smile when you go for a drink. While we visit regularly last weekend was the first time staying at the hotel. Since I'm a short drive we've never taken advantage of the comped room. However, being a special outing for my birthday my husband asked our host to help secure us a room. Our host Elizabeth is THE BEST! She was happy to help in getting us reservations for the room and treating us to dinner at 19 Steakhouse (ask for "Server Michael" he's fantastic and never disappoints). After our long evening of gambling my hubby and I headed up to the room and found Elizabeth hooked us up with a suite! Here I was expecting a dinky comped room and she surpassed my expectations again. As tired as I was; I couldn't help taking a bath in the big tub and indulge in the complimentary bath salts. The bed was comfortable and we slept like rock stars. I would 100% stay here again.…
Two day a week visitor here for the last year.... frequently comped for rooms. Had a room booked for Friday night for about 3 weeks. Arrived at the motel at 600 pm with a check in time at 3pm. Told that my room wasn't cleaned yet... short on house cleaners and they were only selling 150 rooms now out of a 600 room motel. Instead of getting the deluxe-smoking room.. i had to settle for a handicapped accessible room/non smoking. Tried to get a table at their only restaurant "The Stadium" . Half the restaurant was empty and was told an hour and a half to be seated. Had to drive down the road to a Subways and eat. Gambled till late late that night spending good money .. woke up to the housekeepers knocking on our door at 930 am... when we have an 1100 am check out time. Now, because of this short staff issue.. it is impossible to get a room on weekends like i have done for a year now. Called Ceasars Southern Indiana today and they are willing to transfer my points and i'm comped this Friday night. Please figure this out Belterra... have lots of fond memories in that facilty.…
We just spent the weekend at Belterra for the second time. The rooms are clean with typical hotel furnishings in the standard rooms, but the deluxe rooms have fantastic bathrooms and the rooms are much larger. It is well worth the upgrade. There is a nice variety of slots in the casino, some old and some new, but overall they are the loosest slots I have ever experienced outside of Vegas--multiple handpays for some of us and others with low bankrolls were able to keep playing all weekend, which makes it fun for everyone. I LOVE their slots! Some areas of the boat though smell smoky but I wore a mask anyway so it was not that bad. We ate at all the restaurants. I do wish there were more moderately priced options. The sports bar is pretty much it for lunch. We ate at the steak house one night for dinner. It was amazing food. Best steak of my life. But it is pricey and way out of the budget for many people. We ate at Bel Bistro another evening. It is the restaurant they have set up in the former buffet area but it is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings. It has good food and moderately priced, but a very limited menu. The sports bar always seemed crowded, which was to be expected since it is the primary restaurant for most people. The only other food option was the coffee shop. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend because I enjoy loose slots, good food, and comfortable rooms, and that is enough for me. Others were very disappointed though that the Spa is still closed, as is the pool and fitness facilities. Also, there is only one little gift shop. There were other stores the first time we visited. There is no buffet anymore either. I'm sure all the closures are due to the pandemic, but I'm not sure why they still charge a resort fee. Also, breakfast is not included which is seems really strange at a hotel or resort. Even just a basic continental breakfast would be appreciated. The only breakfast option was to buy something from the coffee shop which had a long line. No room service either. Hopefully those things will be restored in time. In the meantime, the slots are loose enough to keep us coming back.…
We played 18 holes of golf (which was $100) but the course is beautiful. Had a room for the night for our anniversary. I was told at the casino entrance that I could not bring my clear plastic cup of ice water into the casino, so we kept our money and turned in for the night. Average rooms with almost no food options. Never going back.
THE BELTERRA IS THE BEST!!! EVERYTHING about this place has been wonderful for us every single time. Jeff Evans was a God send as he went above and beyond to make sure that we were great at all times. He was the best host that I have ever dealt with by far!!! We really appreciate everything he did for us and was very quick to respond to my requests. Aaron was super friendly and an absolute ball to chat with at the front desk. These two are definitely keepers to say the least. The Grand Suite is something that you have to experience at least once . The jacuzzi is bigger than any I have ever been in in a hotel room. I I am 5 foot 9 a my husband is 6 foot 4 and we have plenty of room to stretch out in there together. We are very picky about our accommodations and food when traveling. This is probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. That says a lot because we travel quite a bit. We have thoroughly enjoyed all of the food here as well. Even as a sports bar, The Stadium has never let us down. The cowboy ribeye at 19 was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Even the sides were great. I could eat the asparagus as a meal in itself. We look forward to going every time and can't wait to get back again!!…
The casino has only about 25% of their rooms available due to lack of help. Breakfast is on your own and lunch and dinner only at one site in the casino. Saturday rates are twice their regular daily rate and you need to book your room early.
Used to be our favorite escape from Cincinnati. Unfortunately last three visits there has been room.issue. we even called ahead this time was told that everything would be ready. Sitting here still waiting 3 hours later for a room. Maybe our last visit sad to loose emerald status.
