For a off chain place we had a great time the staff was very friendly and helpful the rooms were very clean and even all of the other folks we chatted with during our stay they were great too! This a very great place to stay and if we take off again we will stay again.
I wish I had looked at expedia or Booking Buddy before calling the motel directly. Charge 99.00 for a Friday and 119.00 plus tax for Saturday. Wow. Asked for senior discount orany nothing to offer. Room was hot, air didn't seem to work very well, odd banging noise almost every hour. Stairs had mud from previous day. Not dusted for a long time! Good enough for one night in a storm. Breakfast is cereals and toast. Staff was nice. Looks like they are trying to updaye but..... towels also small and rough. Definitely a 40 to 50 dollar room not over 100.00.
Booked hotel for a price months in advaned, got my reservation confirmation for a price than when we got there it was 100.00 more than what i booked room for. I am assuming they found out it was race weekend at Kentucky speedway. I looked for available rooms somewhere else and there where not any. Room wasnt clean no hot water for shower, everyone at front desk was rude
Trying to save a few dollars was NOT worth it here! The ladies were very nice who worked there but that’s about the only positives. Beds were as hard a a rock...throwback to old beds with box springs. Carpeting was stained. It looks like they were trying to remodel because there were beds and furniture stacked in the hallway. ‘Free’ Contiental breakfast was all picked over and not worth it. Definitely not 4100 per night room!
Right across the street from The Belterra Casino, is this reasonably priced motel, with a nice, family type atmosphere. Clean with adequate amenities (frig & microwave)...and a free shuttle door to door to The Belterra ((which is awesome by itself)
Do not stay at this hotel it is nasty and dirty smells like mold and mildew. When we turned the ac unit on dust blew out every where, I did not sleep all night because I was itching I kept getting up to go in the bathroom and check to see if I was having an allergic reaction to something, at 5am, my daughter turned on the light, there was a bug on my arm, the bed was infested with bedbugs!! The lady at the front desk would not do anything till the owner came and expected us to stay in that room until 12 noon. We left, my boyfriend was in another room with his son, stayed behind to deal with it, the owner did not come in that day, the owner took our call on Monday but said that he had searched the room and found nothing, he would not give us our money back- get on their Facebook…
Stayed here due to lack of availability anywhere else near by. The night clerk is an older lady that has to be the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with in guest services! Upon leaving we couldn’t help but notice room 109 was being emptied out? When we inquired with housekeeping, they stated that a bed bug had been found. In the room you will find stained sheets and towels. Our bathroom floor had a dried up contact with a wad of hair stuck in it...just so gross. Go over to Sparta, Ky and stay at the Ramada. We did. It’s clean and just as affordable
Went to the casino across the street and needed a place for the night. Nice little place .They don't have an elevator but not a problem for us. Continental breakfast was just fine . They have more TV channels than any hotel I have ever stayed at. Bathroom was nice size . Seems family owned. Desk staff were just fine for me . I will be back .
The lady at the front desk was very rude. Checked in at 3 am and it was 122.00. We had 4 people but as soon as we started toward our room she ran after us and said it’s 20 more dollars for extra people. We told her there were 4 at check in. The continental breakfast was a joke. Out of everything pretty much by 9 am. It lasts until 11. The carpet had stains all over. The beds very small. Charged for 4 but only 2 towels and 2 washcloths. Will never stay here again. No complimentary shampoo or soap. Bathroom shower floor flaking paint. No customer service at all!!!
Hotel is fine if you are just looking for somewhere to rest your head after playing at the casino. We had a double queen room upstairs. FYI - there is no elevator, so you will carry luggage up if you get a room on 2nd floor. Room was dated, but clean. Staff was pleasant. No issues checking in or out. They have a continental breakfast from 5-11 am. However, most items were gone by the time we went down at 10 am. Belterra offers a free 24 hr shuttle. We did not use it, but it was available. We drove our own car back and forth and counted... it's a 12 sec drive from parking garage at Belterra to parking lot of Fairway. There is literally nothing around, so bring snacks. The hotel lobby does sell sodas and snacks. We would stay here again if ever visiting Belterra. …
