Follow the River came highly recommend. But it exceeded all the wonderful things we had heard. First, the spots are spacious, and each have a large concrete pad and picnic table, and fire ring. Full hookups on each site. Great convenient amenities. Clubhouse has a nice store/office. Staff are some of the friendliest and resolved our issue in no time. (Our 30amp plug blew a breaker and they quickly provided a 50 amp converter.). Pool is clean and refreshing. It’s salt water so it felt good on the skin. Met super nice people at the pool. Wish I was better with names. Paved trail was a great place to wear out the dogs, and we also enjoyed taking a spin on the bikes. Fishing pond was stocked. Both myself and my husband each caught a couple fish. Nice to be able to walk out and head down to the lake. Took the free Belterra shuttle down for our first casino Buffett. Delicious dinner!! Tried a little bit of everything. Not big on gambling but enjoyed people watching and not having to worry about driving. Shower house is super clean and spacious. In fact, the whole park was spotless. We cannot wait to return. After having a stressful week and departure day, once we were set up and able to relax, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is a nice playground for kids, including a large jumping pillow that looked like a lot of fun.

I tried for over a week to get an answer to see if there was any campsites for the Swiss Wine Festival. No one ever returned my calls. I finally go a hold of someone in the office on Thursday afternoon. We needed the site on Friday. Of course there was none avalible.

MY sister in law booked a group of us at this RV park for our visits to The Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. I normally prefer parks with lots of trees and a back to nature vibe. So when I saw the photos I thought oh no this looks like a field with a pond and very few trees for shade. Well yes parts of it are not shaded. We chose not to stay around the pond and in lot 43 where some shade could be provided by the trees. We were pleasantly surprised with the lots as they are well spaced and well maintained. There is a nice nature trail which is paved and a fairly easy walk. The park was quiet at the time we were there and not crowded. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is an excellent location between the Arc and Creation museum as far as access to both. Also to Cincinnati zoo. I would not hesitate to stay here.

I wish all RV parks were like this one. Sites are very large and well spaced out. Every site had a large concrete pad with 50 amp services. Price was very reasonable. Pool was a little small but no big deal.

This RV park advertised wifi and cable, they were only in the club house office building, you could not get it at your camp site. Very disappointed! If we go to this area again would probably not stay here. Although, the walking trail was great for walking your dog.

Originally booked 2 nights but after arriving, added one more night. So nice and clean and great sites with plenty of space. We visited the Belterra casino just a couple of miles up the road and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend it!

We were able to stay at Follow the River RV resort when we planned a trip to visit The Ark and The Creation Museum. Another couple came with us on this trip. While we entertained a friend from Kentucky one afternoon, our friends went disc golfing. The resort was very well taken care of outside. The only tiny complaint we had was the ladies room was out of hand paper towels in one machine for 2 days, and my husband said that the men's room had toilet paper in only the handicapped stall for 2 days. Maybe they were short of help those days. We had to use the laundry facilities once; the washers and driers were in good working order and the laundry room was neat and clean. Due to the resort's close proximity to the Kentucky Speedway we were sure that they would be booked for next July's NASCAR race there; what a surprise.............they still had 7 sites available. Hubby is happy that he will now be able to attend another race in 2018. We would recommend this resort highly. The sites were good sized, and we had no trouble with it accomodating our 44 foot 5th wheel toy hauler. We biked through the resort itself, and then would go down their "bike path". We'd do the whole works 3 or 4 times in order to get a few miles in. It would be nice if the path was a little longer as we felt it would be dangerous to ride on the busy highway and we like riding several miles.

This very nice RV park is situated along Indiana Hwy 156 (Ohio River Scenic Byway), just 2.5 miles west of Belterra Casino. The main roads within the park are paved and easily navigable for the largest of coaches. All the sites (back-in and pull-through) have long, wide concrete pads, a concrete patio with a wooden picnic table, a fire ring, cable tv, and daily trash pick-up. Sites are widely spaced and nicely angled, allowing for privacy at each site. Amenities within the park include a large “catch and release” fishing pond centrally located on one side of the park, a heated, salt-water swimming pool, a large children’s playground with padded ground, a bounce pad, horseshoes, volleyball court, basketball hoop, laundry facilities, restrooms with showers, and a huge community center with video games. An added plus is the 0.7 mile long off-site walking/biking path which offers great exercise due to the hill climb at the end. When added to a lazy figure 8 along the paved roads in the park, it makes for a nice 1.35 mile trail. There is also a small convenience store located in the registration office which sells fire wood, bags of ice, soft drinks, ice cream, park t-shirts, and a small variety of RV necessities. We can’t extol enough the virtues of the owners/staff of this park. We had the need to call the park’s emergency number at midnight one night, and immediately received a call-back from one of the owners, with the offer to come to our site to help us out, even though he lived about one-half hour away. (Our motorcoach surge protector was reading "Open Ground," even though the power pole tested OK. We were moved to a different site the next day and had no further difficulties.) Absolutely amazing customer service, a quality very much appreciated! The owners take great pride in maintaining their park, and can be found throughout the day doing maintenance, mowing (lots and lots and lots of grass!), cleaning the pool, working in the office, etc. We used the park as a home base for visits to Vevay, Madison, Rising Sun, Cincinnati, Patriot, Carrollton, Florence, KY, Lexington, and surrounding areas. If our travels should ever bring us back to this area, we will definitely stay here again!
