This B&B is as fine as can be!!! It's magical!!! Lovely setting. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Parlor, sunroom, and dining rooms are charming and oh so cozy. Lush grounds offer a very private and natural setting. The owner, Tim, goes all out to provide all the comforts of home and then some. And the complimentary breakfasts prepared by Wil are...

We have had many stays at the Gray Goose Inn, but recently returned after a couple years away. Everything about it remained stellar. Michael remembered us, and he (and Ellie and Charlie Brown) was kind and accommodating. The breakfast was filling, fresh and delicious. As always, it was shared with the array of birds that come to the feeders by...

This was my 3rd stay at Gray Goose Inn. I've always had a room with a view of the lake, which is lovely. There is a nice walking trail around the lake. Comfortable bed and beautiful furnishings. Very, very quiet. If you go, you should know that the inn is fairly close to train tracks (station is within 20 minutes,...

B&B's are usually considered a romantic interlude for couples on a honeymoon, or just a getaway. I stayed here a while back and found it to be the quiet place that I needed to do some soul searching. While I only stayed two nights, I was able to relax and do what I needed to do. What a beautiful, quiet...

We truly enjoyed our stay! After a week of intense business meetings in downtown Chicago we were glad to be out of the city. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was very cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. Dinner at the nearby 'Lucrezia' restaurant was superb. Our home cooked breakfast at the Gray Goose Inn was...

We stayed here in mid-May 2011 during a death in my family. The peaceful surroundings were just what we needed. If you can find a vacancy, jump on it. The lakeside gazebo is quite popular, as you can watch cardinals, geese, a blue heron, and at dusk we even saw a coyote, a deer and a raccoon run by. The...

My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. It was so relaxing! We felt right at home and spent a lot of time in the screened gazebo by the lake. The food was excellent and everyone went out of their way to be friendly and make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back!

The Gray Goose Inn is excellent. Tim and his staff provide great service. The location is convenient, yet nestled in a private setting on a small lake. Nice attention to detail in the accomodations. Breakfast is gourmet. Screened gazebo allowed a bug-free evening in the cool night. Plenty of bird watching from the sun/sitting room. We highly recommend it.

The Gray Goose is located right off the highway just a few miles to the Indiana Dunes State Park but is surprisingly serene in a beautiful setting, considering it is steps from fast food joints and shopping centers (and traffic). It's like you have stepped into another world. The inn itself is old-fashioned in the very best way, and the...

I have to admit, the impression I got from the website was that this place was kitschy but when we arrived I found it really to be quite elegant. We stayed in the Palomara and Mallard rooms which are in the newer part of the home. They matched the style of the original home perfectly and had top-notch amenities including...

“Just email or call Tim to ask specifics about his rooms. We did that and he helped us choose the perfect room for our stay. My advice is to get a room with a view of the lake if possible, we really enjoyed that view every day.”
