We wanted an offbeat excursion and this was the perfect place. The resort is managed by Ram and Laxman and their family. It felt like home. Such a sweet family. The only drawback is the ferry to get there. If you are ready to sleep on the steel deck of the ferry, then a paradise awaits you on little Andaman. 4-5 days will be enough to explore this island. I highly recommend this resort to people who like eco tours and love the sea. You will find places to snorkel so carry your own snorkel. The resort can rent you a surfboard if you are into it. Amazing home food cooked by Laxman and family. While returning you can either come by ferry or book a helicopter ride ( around 3k to 4K rupees each subject to availability) We enjoyed it over here away from the hectic life of the city and I'm sure you will …
it was our honeymoon trip... exceptionally we decided to choose Little Andaman as our destination.. as it is very remote and secluded from the main island.... our journey of togetherness has started with a memorable and everlasting trip at Little Andaman... we had 4 days stay at Greenwood . Ram Shankar and Laxman, owners of the resort took care of us like their own family members. we never felt like outsiders... we enjoyed every single time we spent with them.. .. good home made food, hospitality and a family far away from home make greenwood resort an exceptionally unique place to stay at Little Andaman...
We stayed 10 days in Greenwood Island Resort. We arrived there by chance. We first had planned to stay 4 nights, but it turned out that we felt so comfortable here that we finally decided to stay in this guest house and to spend more time on Little Andaman. We finally stayed for 10 days. We were warmly welcomed by the couple of owners, and their parents. They belong to the first Indian inhabitants on the Island. The whole family is caring, nice and interesting to talk with. Ram, the borther, made the conversation easier cause he speaks well English, but we know that's he's only in this place from time to time. The food there was really good : fresh, healthy and tasty. The rooms are comfortable and really clean. Thanks to this place, we'll keep a very very good memory of our stay on Little Andaman.…
