First-impression deficiencies since pandemic: prices can be over-inflated while maintenance staff cut and not keeping up with exterior public area appearances. Some staffers so new that they have no idea of how to respond to customer issues effectively. Pricing on Marriott website for fall nights -- even with AAA or other discounts -- was as high as $300-$400 per. Seriously out of line costs for a place that (for example) never cleaned up dozens of cigarette butts at its main entrance. Grubby, smoking debris ground into concrete and lines between. Rains did not flush butts away. Destroyed high-end welcome that flowering planters and benches are supposed to present. At check-in one desk staffer read badly from a script. Repeat visitor, I could feel compassion for newbie. However, he was stymied by my issue when my reservation did not set aside accessible room as specified. No help there. Rooms themselves are quiet (highway a distant hum) and clean. Kitchen, its cooking equipment and full fridge as well maintained as ever. Cleaning staff for interior spaces doing great job but likely overworked; I tipped gratefully. Hotel desk has notices that rooms will not be cleaned as often as before Covid. Common corporate tactic, but with this year's high room rates disappointing. Some desk staff experienced and good troubleshooters. Newer ones need training -- as with many service industry situations.

Best Hotel Experience Ever. We stayed here when we were going to use the Amtrak to go out to Whitefish. The staff were exceptionally amazing. Mariott is very lucky to have such a great staff. The rooms are really cozy and the beds are really cozy. It was also nice to have a kitchen with a full refrigerator. Will definitely stay if we are in the area again.

This hotel is super clean, very well taken care of. By the moment you enter to the reception area you realize you are at the right place. I have read comments of other people about the service of people in this hotel: It is true, employees go beyond their usual to give you the best experience staying here. I just arrived but I feel so good about this hotel that decided to make this review right away. Happy to stay here for the next 10 days.

A good weeklong stay for work except for issues connecting with the Internet. Very friendly and engaging hotel staff. Breakfast each morning was passable at best and could do with some additional choices of fruit and hot foods. Room was spotless each night when I got back to the hotel. Room could use a refresh and a coat of paint. Kitchenette was great. It was nice to have a place to cook dinner when I wanted to. Used the hotel's grocery service and although pricy, did the trick for me. Overall, a pleasant stay and would return to this RI.

Comfortable hotel. I've stayed here 3 times on the past year. The staff is attentive and the rooms are clean. When I've made special requests, they have generally been addressed well - extra cooking pots, etc. I don't recommend room 211 because the roof over the hotel's main entrance obscures the windows in that room. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

We were in town for a family event and had a pleasant stay. The front desk manager, I think her name was Mara, was very accommodating as was the rest of the staff. Rooms are clean and large, and we used the fitness center and swimming pool as well as the breakfast. Nice location in the northern suburbs, highly recommend

Very nice location, just off the highway. Average quality rooms. Seems a bit old building and room furniture. Breakfast could be better. They should offer more variety. Superfriendly staff. They accommodated all our requests, including adjacent rooms.

I have stayed here multiple times over the past three years while visiting family. The room is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff is friendly and always asks the reason for my trip. One one visit, they kindly (without my asking) put me in a quiet location when I said I was there for a funeral. Breakfast is just OK, but my choices are limited by food restrictions, so YMMV. I'd give the hotel 5 stars except that I have trouble connecting to WiFi and neither I nor staff have been able to solve it.

Stayed one night at this Residence Inn and was pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and, for those who like to sleep in a cold room, the AC goes low! This was a great stay and I slept well (a rarity when traveling for me). I’ll definitely be back!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that’s quiet as some rooms can hear the highway (minimally).
