The lobby smelled like sewage, the afternoon clerk was rude, the stairs to our room floor were extremely dirty as well as the stairwell window. Our floor smelled like people had been chain smoking cigarettes all day. The white comforter on our bed had a large yellow stain, and 2 of the pillow cases were filthy- one had what looked like mascara on it and the other had small blood stains. We did not stay, we found a new hotel and went there. The night audit clerk, Shayanna, was amazing and the only good thing about this hotel.
Liliana, General Manager greeted me at the front desk upon my arrival.. She was amazing for the duration of my stay. Excellent Guest Services, she was there to meet all of my needs. I will stay here again when I visit Chicago.
The rooms are poorly maintained, rundown and dirty. No Housekeeping. If you need clean sheets, they hand you sheets to do it yourself? Seriously? My Sister's room, had no functioning toilet whatsoever. No Internet, despite them advertising as having "Free Wi-Fi". No elevator. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When I see the Ramada name, I expected some sort of quality control. Nope, you get Motel 6 Quality at Ramada prices. I will never stay at another Ramada Hotel ever again.
Nothing to recommend here. Staff was not welcoming, short answered bordering on rude. We had to ask everything, no info offered such as best place to park, which way to go to our room, etc. Vent in bathroom went into adjoining room so could hear them talking and music playing all night. Room smelled slightly spured. Bed was rock hard. After traveling I was so looking forward to a hot bath. Water got lukewarm, never hot, and water smelled like iron and gross. Our floor was a non smoking floor however smelled like pot and cigarette smoke in the hallway. We realized no breakfast was included but there wasn't even bottled water or coffee in the lobby or room (we found out on our way out the door there was coffee available for purchase in the lobby). Won't be staying here or recommending to anyone we know. Very disappointed.…
It was so dirty had hair in the tub from previous guest, mold on the wall, no elevator, dirty furniture. Not enough linens. People were rude. I'd never stay here again. The neighbors were drunk and fought all night.
No Breakfast and not a friendly staff. The rooms were ok. Little sketchy place. The staff could have been more friendly as this is a service business. There was no exhaust fan in the restroom. They dont have a room service, I was needing one more towel as I was with the family and when I called the lobby for towels, they asked me to come down to lobby to pick it up.
THIS HOTEL WAS VERY RUDE !!! THE FRONT DESK LADY IS VERYYYY RUDE SHES RACIST & SHES A LIAR …. I never have problems with no other staff person but her. She needs better communication skills and she should find a job that doesn’t deal with the public she told me I smoked in my room when I don’t even smoke… the last time I came here the staff was drunk and just out of his mind I literally watch this man fall and bust his head open because he was high off of meth. She’s clearly worried about the wrong thing. I also witnessed her about to fight somebody because they were standing talking on their phone. Don’t go here and don’t waste your time and money here. I asked for her name and she told me she’s not giving me thing and to not come back here she called the police on me. But she was the one talking to me rude. Do not go here I repeat do not go here You will get into with her and she will call the police. She also tried to cover up for the guy who was pissy drunk she still told him he was able to check people in. That Hispanic lady needs to be fired.…
The motel's website indicated a buffet breakfast, but no breakfast was available. Need to update the website. No room staff on duty to deliver items. Our room only had one wash cloth. Check in staff was not cheerful or friendly.
Mobility Accessible reservation was incorrectly honored. The first room I was given was not accessible. The manager on duty explained that the accessible rooms were all gone but he had hidden one because "so many people who don't need them like to book them anyway." He also confided in me that he thinks that the Mobility Accessible rooms should cost a lot more but they can't do that because it would be "politically incorrect." The reservation specifically stated that the room would have a roll-in shower, but the accessible room did not; it only had a tub with grab bars.I managed to make it work for me but the next day I went to talk to the hotel GM. She explained to me that I did not book a room with roll-in showers. I said I could show her where the reservation specifically says the room will have that and she said that doesn't mean anything to her. The whole time I tried to talk to her the MOD from the previous night kept on interjecting making it a two-on-one attack. Bottom line: She never accepted any responsibility for the error. Offered to switch me which I turned down since I had made the tub work out for me and didn't want the extra hastle of moving. Her solution was to put int he record "Customer refused to switch." Bottom line: This hotel was comfortable clean, no frills, no breakfast and perfectly fine for the price and as long as you don't care about Mobility Accessiblity rooms or managers that have poor customer service skills, it is a good choice. Seriously, i would stay there again if it were not for that situation…
Awful The staff tried to steal my money by kicking me out of my hotel room stating a smoke marijuana in my hotel room when I was gone for several hours prior to the time they were saying I was doing so and then charge my card for damages to the room and kick me out and I Could not get a refund through them or Hotels.com
