We were on a family visit in punalur... Stayed a after a long journey near to a petrol pump ( name forgotten ) was very very poor... Next day we decided to change the room then went yo Kumar palace where we treated well by the staffs.check in was smooth... Except a " bar" rest every thing is Good.

The hotel is e very large smart looking building . Breakfast and other meals of good quality. Punalur town and highlights within walking distance. After dark better to stay in hotel or take taxi. River and bridges very picturescue. We got a room for wheelchair use which was something to get used to. Hotel was not very busy which gives an empty feeling. I would not be surprised if this place was the best you can get in this town.

I spent 9 days at this hotel and it was a good experience. The room was cleaned daily, the bed reset, fresh towels and the staff responded to my needs whenever I called. In addition, the food in the hotel was very good and the staff were very attentive to details.This is probably the nicest hotel in Punalur and I will definitely be staying there again.

Was in this hotel for a weekend. Nice and clean rooms even with the heavy rains outside. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Service was very nice. Value for the money. The 24 hour check out was very convenient for us.

Best budget hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable. About 1 Km from the railway station. The 150 years old suspension bridge is walk down distance.The rooms are budget type and rates are reasonable and clean.
