Perfect stop over for Reading Half Marathon. Quiet location with a great pub on the grounds serving excellent food. Would definitely return if staying in that area again. The staff were very helpful and as we were leaving too early for breakfast we were directed to a local Tesco, just down the road.

A friend and i travelled up for a race and stayed here and on arrival were greeted by the friendliest lady (Laura) who was most welcoming . The room was clean and well equipped. Laura again more than happy to assist us with directions and our awkward breakfast needs. Would definitley return.

Another great Premier Inn stay! Spotlessly clean and really welcoming helpful staff (both at reception and at breakfast). This hotel is in the countryside but very close to Reading which was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again if we needed a hotel in this area.

Reading South Premier Inn is actually in a country setting, but close to Reading. Good pub next door, good parking and the hotel has recently been refurbished. We often stay there when visiting our daughter in Shinfield, which makes it into a mini-holiday - well=-recommended.

Nothing wrong with the Inn. Problem is there is NO public transport from it. A taxi has to come from Reading, and each trip into Reading costs up to £20 each way. there are no footpaths so you cannot walk to the park and ride. We had a bad experience with the restaurant (The Old Bell) as two main courses...

The location was pretty good and easy to find. Everything else is what you come to expect from a Premier Inn. Good staff, great beds and comfy rooms with usual amenities. Have found a lot are also being refurbished. No complaints at all. And a great price to top it all.

The team at Reading South are second to none. So helpful and pleasant. When my father was taken ill during a stay they offered in many ways to help. I really cannot fault them on anything. When I need to stay in Reading this hotel will always be my 1st choice.

This was a very good hotel away from the crowds with warn friendly staff. We had two rooms. One for my wife & I & one for our son & grandsons. It was a very good break, which we all enjoyed. If we visit this area again we will stay here at this hotel without hesitation.
