We stayed overnight in the fire station studio, which is just above the visitors centre. The accommodation is very spacious with living and dining as well as a bedroom area. There is a nice bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The outside deck complete with bbq was the perfect place to watch the sunset. We really enjoyed our stay and will...

We stayed in Apartment 23c over 13th & 14th March 2015. We were met by David in the office who checked us in and transported us to and from the apartment. He was a wealth of information, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, nothing was too much trouble for him to make our stay comfortable. We felt it was affordable and value...

Currently staying in Apartment 23c and the view is magnificent! The apartment is ok, it's clean and well looked after although for $330 a night one would expect an air con in at least one of the rooms. There is a small grassed area out the front which needs mowing so we can't really sit on the grass. I would...

Stayed in one of the heritage houses with 9 friends. We had a wonderful time. All the facilities are modern but within a heritage setting. We bought all food and stayed in the idyllic location with spectacular views. It is easy to also explore the rest of the island. Fabulous value for a large group.

We stayed in late November. My mum had just come out of hospital, so we thought we would do something nice - have an escape for a few days. We were told mid-week was quieter, so booked Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursday nights. The staff were very helpful when we arrived, taking us and all our gear up to the 'Harbour view...

I recently took two relatives here for a week (both over 70 yo). We stayed in the very well appointed 23b. The views are absolutely stunning from the balcony (with a BBQ on it) or the lounge, both over looking the harbour bridge. Each time we met the staff they lit up and were really keen to help, they were...

When these houses were restored in 2009 they were perfect. We stayed here in early 2010 and it was really beautiful. In late 2014 many of the things which make it great remain: spectacular views, half an hour by ferry from the cbd but a sense of going back in time, trees, gardens and bird life. Unfortunately the heritage houses...

Stayed for 2 nights in the one bedroom apt 23C. Lovely small apartment. Knockout view. Photos on other reviews show how nice it is. The downside is (a) being a Heritage building and downstairs if people are staying upstairs it is really noisy with dragging chairs and walking around.(b) the seagulls are aggressive and you eat out on the balcony...

Only stayed here a night with my partner. Wishes it'd been 2. Arrived during early evening so didn't see the grounds till morning but the view if the city across the water was incredible. We stayed in an apartment which was huge and well equipped. Very nice done. We bought our own food to cook with and had all the...
