So my mom and I only had to deal with this place for one night on each side of our trip out of O'hare, but both times we had negative experiences with our shuttle drivers who were very rude. The hotel is undergoing renovation so the shuttle drops you off in the back of the hotel which is very sketchy, but it ended up working out. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough for the few hours we needed them. The front desk staff was largely accommodating and able to give good food recommendations. But, overall I think you can get a better stay for similar money elsewhere.
It’s our second time there . And will go back a third. The rooms have been upgraded , the staff very friendly and accommodating. The location is superb! Easy location to get to 15 mins from Chicago ohare.
Hotel under renovation. The rooms are new and welcoming. However, the works are noisy and start early in the morning and require you to enter through back doors. Mediocre breakfast. We had not been notified of the work in progress. Otherwise, we would have chosen a different accommodation.
I needed to be close to the airport for a very short stay. The airport shuttle is a hired vendor who also picks up from a nearby parking lot. They droup you off in the back. It was dark. I'm alone. I'm traveling. I'm vulnerable. I was told to pick up my very early shuttle back to the airport in the same place. I left at 5am. It was still dark. I did not like putting myself in a vulnerable situation
Stayed in this hotel for one night based on it’s good reviews. I’m sorry I did. The hotel is undergoing some construction so the front looks like an abandoned building. I drove around the building twice to figure out how to get in. I finally found a sign, laying on the ground that said the entrance was in the back. It was dark when I arrived and the makeshift entrance was dark and uninviting. Made my way to the front desk and waited in a short line to check in. Some guy came up behind me and asked me what I needed. At this point I was a bit on edge due to the overall condition of the place but I said I was just trying to check in. Since he was initially behind me when he spoke to me, I thought he was just someone hanging out at the hotel and I wasn’t sure what his intentions were. Turns out he was an employee working the front desk. It turned out ok and he was nice and efficient but I wasn’t expecting the front desk person to show up behind me and I would not have been so jumpy if he had just said sir, I can help you up at the front. I was given room 420 and initially it seemed ok. Once you get out of the first floor it starts looking more like a legitimate hotel. However, the shower was dirty. It had some else’s hair stuck to the side of one of the shower walls and on the floor beside the tub. I was tired and didn’t feel like braving the front desk situation again so I cleaned the shower myself. I thought that would be the end but it wasn’t. I went to bed and in the morning got up and noticed some unknown substance splattered on the walls of the room. I was tired the night before, I didn’t turn on many lights and went to bed fairly quickly so I didn’t notice the stuff on the walls or else I would have asked for another room. I don’t know what that stuff was. I took a quick picture of it and and got out of the room as quickly as I could. If you stay here, do not let them put you in room 420. One last thing that happened during my stay is in the morning, housekeeping unlocked my door and walked in on me. I was in bed when I heard two taps on the door from someone who had a key card in their hand. They announced they were housekeeping. I got out of bed and by the time I got to the door the lady was already in my room. She said she was told the room needed to be serviced. I said no and that I was going to check out soon. I had the do not disturb sign hanging on the outside handle but apparently that doesn’t mean much here. I definitely had not asked for service. She left but again another bit of advice if you stay here - engage all the locks in your room. They can and will enter with a quickness if they want to.…
This was one of the best airport hotels we’ve ever experienced! The lobby is being renovated but the pool was still open, and a great breakfast was available as well as grab bags. Our room and bathroom looked new and were attractive and functional. Front desk staff were outstanding—knowledgeable, personable and helpful regarding some errands we needed to run. Shuttle drivers were friendly and the shuttle is available 24/7. Great hotel!
Stay was comfortable and satisfactory for the overnight stay we needed. Clean rooms, quick check out process, and convenient location. Only complaint was that they still had issues checking in my guests even after I had added them to the booking.
The pool was good and the breakfast was great. The hotel staff were nice and helpful, and the Park n Jet airport shuttle bus driver was wonderful. There was a bit of traffic noise in the room, but less than I expected given the busy road. The beds and pillows were softer than I preferred though, and the carpet was a bit threadbare. Very clean though. The first floor was undergoing renovation so if I had come later in the year it would probably have looked better. There was a handy little shop by the front desk, although it was a bit short on drink selection. There was also a problem with the TV signal where we couldn't watch it for several hours, but I don't think it was the hotel's fault. It wasn't perfect, but I was pretty satisfied and would stay there again the next time we come through ORD.…
My initial impression was negative since the entrance is at the back and there was a lot of clutter around the entrance hallway, but it improved when we got to our room. The room had already been renovated and was very clean and comfortable. Having just returned from overseas, we were very pleased to be back in a large hotel room. Beds and pillows were comfortable and all of the usual room amenities were there. Breakfast was fine, but again the renovation work meant that the regular dining room was closed. Of course the best part of the hotel is that it is close to Ohare airport and the room was quiet making it a good location for an overnight while in transit.
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The front of the hotel is being renovated (Aug 15, 2022) so you have to check in around the back. Narrow entryway not very pleasant. Had I known this I would have chosen another hotel. Location of hotel is in an industrial area with a busy road right out the front window. Plusses we're it had laundry facilities which we needed. And there was a free airport shuttle, which was main reason for staying there.
