    We called in here for a drink whilst walking. We were served quickly by a friendly bar man. Before we left we had a look around anscwhat a beautiful building it is. Would love to stay here. Definitely worth calling in.

    Lots to do, especially if they like the outdoors and walking. The hotel is an ideal base for walking to get the ferry on Windermere, we walked down to the ferry crossing and it took us about 20 mins. Windermere has lots of... More

    Yes they are. There are very few places where dogs are not allowed in the Lakes. We love it.

    dog are only mentioned because it can be difficult getting a dog friendly hotel,we didn't take the dog and there were only two very well behaved dogs there hen we stayed. Dogs apart cuckoo brow is a fabulous place to stay
