My wife and I arrived around 4pm, after an easy Uber ride from the nearby O’hare car rental facility. We were greeted right away, and were in our 6th floor room in no time at all. Those working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Everyone that we had contact with from the hotel, was very nice. We were staying 1 night to catch a morning flight to Miami. We did take advantage of the complimentary evening reception. The 2 drinks were nice, and we enjoyed the vegetables and dip. The breakfast was wonderful! The made to order Omelet was quite tasty. As was all of the other items that I had. Very, very, nice indeed. Our room looked good, and smelled good. Clean, comfortable, and plenty of space. And very quiet as far as the exterior, and from inside the atrium. We did take the airport shuttle in the morning. I believe the shuttle left on the half hour. Our driver was very personable. You are lucky to have him.. we had a very nice visit, and I would absolutely stay again.

After staying at this hotel for one night this past weekend, I am shocked the overall guest ratings for this hotel are not higher.

The hotel is located across the street from the Rosemont Convention Center and backs up to the Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District. It is also surrounded by NUMEROUS casual as well as up-scale restaurants within walking distance. There is even an outlet mall a block away as is the Rosemont Theater.

At just over $120 per night, we were impressed with the size of the suite (bedroom with attached living area) as well as the breakfast that is included. While I agree as some reviewers have said, that the room itself is a bit dated, we found the lobby lovely and inviting – again, this hotel is only $120 per night with breakfast included!

When considering the location and value (particularly compared to other hotels in the Rosemont/Chicago area), this hotel earns a 4.5 star from us.

(Please be aware that overnight parking is $29 and valet is $35)

Room was spacious. Staff was accommodating. Clean rooms, would absolutely stay here again. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and had omelettes made on demand. Accidentally left personal items in the room when I left and they were very helpful in recovering it for me.

This hotel clearly wants you to believe they are taking the current pandemic seriously. They have stickers on the room doors attesting to the room having been cleaned and sterilized to the highest order...unless they happened to give you a room without a sticker. Room appeared to have been cleaned adequately but hard to know if someone else had been in there and requested a change. The breakfast offered consisted of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and sausages. All had been made hours earlier and left in a steam table. The only carb available was 'make your own' toast (no butter, jam, etc. Tongs left out with no way to sterilize.). Shuttle bus driver was almost a 1/2 hour late and complained about needing to go all the way to Terminal 5 (Int'l Terminal) at O'Hare because it was going to take him "at least 45 minutes to an hour." It took 18 minutes. He also implored me to hop off the shuttle bus and take the O'Hare Terminal bus saying, "It will be a LOT faster!" I assume he was feeling pressure for being behind schedule and saw getting rid of me (and the extra few minutes to make the additional loop to international departures) as a way to catch up on his schedule. There are a lot of choices of hotel near O'Hare. I would suggest another hotel.

We stayed the night here for business meetings nearby. The lobby and common areas are very nice and spacious. The room had been redone as well however... the tub had been re-coated and was peeling and full of scratches. The shower had very low water pressure. The closet, which came to eye height, was topped with plywood that hasn’t been cleaned in awhile as I had to remove paper and rubber bands from it. The most interesting thing was that my seating room was a conference table and chairs. Weird. There was no place to sit in either room except for the conference table or the bed. And.. I am in the 2nd floor.. a few steps from where breakfast is served. So if you plan to sleep past six forget it.. very loud. Make sure you are not on this floor.

We had an excellent stay. Everything was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent and satisfying. Overall wonderful experience. The hotel was connected to the venue we needed to be at so no walking through the cold or dealing with parking cars. Rooms were large, we are a family of 5 and did not feel cramped.

We stay at Embassy Suites whenever possible, this is one we will not be returning to. We stayed one night before an early flight the next day. The plan was to enjoy the managers reception with snacks for the kids and drinks for the adults. At check we confirmed it was at the bar starting at 5;00 (with COVID you never know if they will be having the normal activities). We were told that yes they have the reception and breakfast the next morning. We settled in and came back down at 5:00. At this point we find out the reception is one half of a plastic glass of wine for the adults and no food. This news came from the bartender that was annoyed that we were looking for anything. When I was given the spalsh of wine I asked about food options and he pointed at a stack of menus at the other end of the bar. At this point it is too late to order food and nobody wants to go anywhere so we end up buy the kids $15 grilled cheese sandwiches. While waiting for our food I see a few other families come in looking for the normal reception we have come to expect from Embassy Suites, they also end up in the bait and switch of ordered overpriced food. The hotel was old but for the most part it was maintained. We had no problem finding our room, it was the one across from the dirty wine glass that many employees walked right by. With a really early flight we went to bed to get some sleep. This hotel is very proud of their contactless check out, they sent me a notification at 10:30 that night to let me know this was an option. Thanks for the wake up right after we all got to sleep, so much for a good night sleep.

We picked this hotel due to the proximity to OHare airport and close to the premium outlets. The hotel has some positives being the breakfast was nice and not incredibly busy and you could not hear any plane noise. A negative was being close to the lifts and the fold out bed being near the front door so you could hear people from the elevator and the light came into that area making it hard to sleep.

We have stayed in many Embassy Suites over the years. We stayed at this location in Chicago prior to a Spring Break trip and left our vehicle as part of a park and fly package.

Our vehicle was in a covered ramp which was nice! We went to the evening reception for our allotted 2 drinks/person. Snacks were individual bags of chips. We ordered off the menu and the food was good. Sadly we couldn’t eat the included breakfast buffet as we had a very early flight. We love Embassy breakfasts and always look forward to them!

Room was very clean and in a quiet location on floor 7. Our older kids slept on the pull out sofa and the light coming in the room (from the hallway) made it very difficult to sleep as it was very bright. (No curtains to pull) This was unfortunate as we had to take a 1:30AM shuttle to the airport and they needed some sleep prior.

Shuttle was great on the way to the airport but on the way back we ended up taking a cab after standing outside in the cold and wind for 30 min. Am sure Spring Break airport traffic had something to do with that, but I didn’t realize you had to stay out in the elements while you wait. And it was chaotic, shuttles pull up where they can and have to fight Ubers picking up.

We were at terminal 5 and at check in they told us we had to call for a return shuttle at that terminal. (Versus the other terminals where shuttles automatically run on a schedule)

When we called for the return shuttle, and said we were at terminal 5, were told one was already en route and if we missed that one (we did) that it would be back in 20-25 min. This contradicted what they told us at check in. We waited in the freezing wind and cold for 30 min and gave up, took a cab for $50 and it was worth every penny.

I would stay here again but wouldn’t rely on using the sofa sleeper (would get 2 rooms) or returning shuttle (would take a cab).

Don’t stay here if you want sleep or have a family. Had a party in two rooms next to me. I called 3 times over three hours to address the marijuana and cigarette smell coming into our room. We tried to stop it by putting sheets under the door, which didn’t work. After the yelling and partying was too loud for us to sleep the answer was to move my family to a different room at 11:15 at night rather than fix the problem. When we went down to get our new keys you could hear the yelling through the whole hotel. The smell of marijuana was strong in the elevator as well. In the end this hotel seemed more concerned with not disturbing a party than having a place someone could sleep. On an educational note, my kid now knows what marijuana smells like.
