What happened? Room was OK, elevator was insalely slow and the prices were crazy high for everything. The complimentary managers reception is only 90 minutes, limited to 2 drinks and they put out Goldfish for the "light snack". Ouch! The breakfast wasn't as good as the one at the Hampton we stayed at earlier.
My spouse and I stayed for one night at the Embassy Rosemont and it was terrific. This was to take advantage of a deal to leave the car in the parking garage, take the hotel shuttle to O'Hare and reclaim car after our vacation. Just everything was perfect at the hotel. We used the fitness facility in the afternoon then enjoyed the two-drink happy hour before retiring. At 5am in the lobby it was easy to see that we were not the only ones taking advantage of that shuttle opportunity. The hotel assured every traveler that they would be transported, and they were. This was surely a great deal, but what stole our hearts were the people working the front desk at both ends of the trip. Their kindness was genuine and their helpfulness just pouring forth. They were knowledgeable and professional. The room was perfect and we can't wait to visit again and just take the Blue Line into Chicago. Thank you Rosemont Embassy. Special shout-out for thanks to…
We had a great stay. The hotel is beautiful and staff is super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was a bit under par with some of the potatoes being under cooked and the sausage was on the rubbery side but we were thankful for the hot breakfast because every thing else was great! Conveniently located about 10 min walk from CTA the "L" train which will take you into Chicago. Google maps is a good feature to help know which transfer line to take. We loved it here at Embassy Suites!
My family and I traveled for a funeral. The trip was not an enjoyable one, however, the hotel staff and accommodations were the easiest thing about this trip. The room was great and the sleep was awesome. Everything was very clean.
We were placed here by AA after our plane was delayed. So beggars can’t be choosy. But I stayed here in 2005 and a lot has changed. It’s old and tired. We came in to our room to find a “Wet chair” sign on the table. Air conditioning didn’t work. Restaurant area was run down and busy. Two workers who were pleasant and kept hustling. Quesadillas were tasty. Beer was cold. Back to room - hand towel was stained. My favorite - the wash clothe from the prior (?) guest over the shower curtain. Evidence of a thorough cleaning lol. Sofa was stained. Breakfast - just poor for a Hilton and this Honors member is ticked off about it. This was once a modern hotel. It’s now a throwback from another era. But again we didn’t pay anything so there is that.
When I spend over $250 to stay at an Embassy Suites I expect only a few things. Clean room, decent breakfast, polite staff. This place is 1 for 3. The staff was gracious and attentive. The rooms are run down and the breakfast was horrible. Specifically the breakfast choices were extremely limited and the quality was really bad. I would not recommend this property nor would I return to it. I understand covid May have hotels cutting corners but this place takes it to a new level
Although the room is pleasant enough the WI-FI is completely inadequate, the sheet was ripped and there was no shampoo. Check in was pleasant and easy and breakfast was fine. It does appear however that the room was not aken care of properly…in addition minimal kleenex,..
I stayed at the Sherwood n Suites Chicago O’ Hare for three nights. I checked in on Monday, 20th June 2022 supposed to leave on June 21st but my registration for covid for Thailand was not completed so I had to go back to the hotel and stay an extra night. LEWIS at the front desk was amazingly helpful and understanding and made my unexpected extra nights stay much easier to deal with. There was also a young lady at the front desk who was also most helpful and understanding but tragically I forget her name Many thanks to them for making my stay so pleasant! Michael Grant
She was amazing and understanding to the customer's needs. Her customer service was great. The food portion was so so, and we ate the same breakfast everyday. I don't think that I should go back to this hotel sooner as I thought.
Stayed in this hotel for a convention and haven't had a good night sleep for the duration. I honestly can't say this is a bad hotel just not what I expected. The rooms are all facing an atrium where large groups of people gather to socialize. Noises echos up and what makes it worst is that the rooms are double door with large glass planes. Every time someone closes the door the slamming echos through the atrium. One night there was a wedding party that held the cocktail in the atrium. You can imagine the sound of loud chattering non stop util midnight. The rooms are as comfy as grandma's house. Old dated furnitures but clean. Can't say that for the carpet. The breakfast is pretty decent. They serve the best bacon ever. No complaints on the breakfast. Its a fun hotel and if you don't mind the noise then this hotel is right for you. Bonus is the shuttle bus to the terminal that runs every half hour.…
