Campground was ok. Nothing real special. Bathrooms needed an update. Lots of seasonals, especially at the pool being loud and boisterous. Pull-through site hadn't been cleaned in a while. After check-in, you're left to find your not so well identified site by yourself. A little customer service would help a ton.

One of the nicest campgrounds I've stayed at. It was only overnight, but had a lovely site, the bathrooms were very clean and nice, and the laundry facility was one of the nicest I've seen. The person who checked us in was great and showed us to the site and made sure we were happy before leaving. I would most...

We got there the 3rd of Dec. That night we were welcomed with 6in. of snow and temps. In the teens. They had turned the water off but the restrooms and showers were still open and nice and warm. The staff were helpful and answered any questions we had.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We camped in our travel trailer in late October. Pretty much everything in the campground is "closed for the season". Back in lots are cramped and very close to each other. The concrete back in with patio face away from a beautiful lake with trees blocking the view. Not sure why they would...

This is a good KOA with a cute theme. Camelot, or knights of the round table. They even have Excaliber at the entrance! Clean bathrooms/shower. Friendly staff. The sites are nice as well. This is a great one night stopover. The highway noise is there, but not intrusive. There are 2 lakes with a road around one. The permanent sites...

No complaints. Easy to find. Clean, Friendly. Beautiful lakes and plenty of activities! Very nice pool and hot tub! Never could find the doggie area. Really appreciated the garbage pick up daily at each camp site. Shrubs between each campsite added privacy.

When I made the reservation I had put "near bathroom" in the comments but had only put water and electric. The lady at the desk let me know that it was a port a potty and that the modern bathroom would be upgrading. Freaking out on the inside but not wanting to upgrade I refused and proceeded to our spot....

Nice camp grounds. Somewhat helpful staff, gross pool that is too crowded because they sell day passes and most customers are from the trailer park across the street. So pool is very crowded. Lots of extremely embarrassing drunk folks with lit cigarettes. I wouldn't let my kids spend more than an hour a day at off times there. A little...

my sister and I drove from Washington state to Illinois and back to visit family and visit other pottery and ceramic studios along the way. We slept in our van to save money and found a KOA in Rock Creek and decided to give it a shot (and a shower). It was so much more than we were expecting. Pool,...

“Spend the extra money and go for the bigger sites. If you really don't mind forking out the cash, go for the deluxe sites where you'll get a great level concrete patio with a wrought iron table and chairs set instead of a picnic table!”

“All spots are pretty good. The spots near the highway/road are a bit tight but they are also less expensive. Just ask the staff and they will match a perfect spot to your specific needs.”
