My partner and I had been to Alton Towers for an action packed day and had had a blast. We had booked bed and breakfast at Hen Cloud Cottage after reading all the fab reviews. Needless to say we were felt very welcome and had a fab stay. Room was great (was looking forward to the cakes in the fridge!)....

Lorna and Nick, thank you. Thank you for making us feel welcome even though we arrived unannounced and all of the hard work you have clearly put into your home. The room was perfect, the cakes were a lovely touch, the breakfasts were more than ample but above all else the views from every window the guests have access to...

Just returned from a lovely stay at Hen Cloud, we booked the cottage as B&B but when we were greeted by Lorna she showed us into the beautiful annexe that people can book for self catering, it was spacious warm and clean with the added bonus of having our super breakfast cooked for us and served in the conservatory with...

My husband and myself stayed here in September for his birthday and I was also 35 weeks pregnant so really wanted a relaxing weekend away... And this is exactly what we got! From when we arrived Lorna (the owner) welcomed us into her beautiful home and took us to our room, which was even nicer than we expected. She also...

Myself and my partner stayed here for a week in June. The cottage is situated in a beautiful isolated area in the peak district with stunning views. The owner was very friendly and the dogs were nothing to be worried about. We found the cottage very clean, spacious and comfortable. We also arrived to two fresh flapjacks made for us!...

I stayed at Hen Cloud Cottage B&B with my 14 year old son for three nights, in order to climb and to visit Alton Towers. The room is ideal, beautifully decorated and furnished, excellent ensuite facilities (fantastic shower) with toiletries included should you have forgotten any. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a mini fridge...

I arranged to spend my big birthday here: 3 perfect days *fantastic* walking right from the garden and along the incredible Roaches (with baby falcons) and partying with family in the cottage. Lorna made me a cake (see photos). Would never go anywhere else for a special time. In fact, off tomorrow to stay for no good reason except to...

We stayed at Hen Cloud Cottage at the beginning of June for two nights to celebrate my birthday and it was our first experience at a B&B - I think any other choice would have been a let down compared to this! We chose it due to its proximity to Alton Towers, but as we're mostly hotel-goers, weren't sure what...

We stayed at Hen Cloud Cottage for one night just before Christmas. Its location, less than four miles from the market town of Leek and at the end of The Roaches, is superb and the views stunning. The room was tastefully appointed and the bed very comfortable. The service from the owner was friendly and our dog was made very...
