Thankfully we were only there for a quick overnight or we would have found another hotel. At most, a two star hotel. The hotel was very dirty, trash and general filth in the elevators, vending/ice area, and hallways. The room was in very poor shape. Bed skirts that were torn and hanging from the bed, cabinet for the fridge was tilted as if it was going to fall at any moment, holes in the wall, and holes in all the lamp shades. Tried to overlook all this and then discovered both the towels and the sheets had spots on them that appeared to look like dried blood. Upon starting to tell the front desk about the poor conditions at checkout she somewhat jumped in immediately giving us a story about the hotel is scheduled for an update and the pandemic has delayed that. The comical part is, we didn’t get beyond “Our room was in poor condition…” before she was jumping in explaining her reason why and inviting us back next year. So, it must not be the only time she has heard this type of feedback. Too bad she didn’t wait/ask for something specific because dirty items shouldn’t be dependent on a renovation. We won’t be returning and really will reconsider relying on the Holiday Inn brand in general.

We were sent here on a voucher from American Airlines, due to a flight delay requiring an overnight stay.. While the front desk staff person was pleasant and efficient, our room was less than desirable. This hotel is old and tired and, although a non-smoking room, the room still smelled of cigarette smoke. The bed sheet on on one of the beds apparently was not changed after the prior occupant, or it was put on dirty - it had lint and what appeared to be insect wings and carcasses. The staff was willing to move us to another room, but the teens were already asleep, so we took a clean sheet and changed the linens ourselves. Other than that, it was quiet and we were able to get a few hours sleep and shower. The room and the bathroom were clean.

My wife and daughter went for a pre college escape. They came home early. Filthy and rude. Not sure what is up but with this location so disappointing. The lobby looks nice. Don’t let it fool you. Asked for a hair dryer and was told there was one. Mold on the ceiling.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this was awful. The hotel was filthy. The common areas look like they’ve never been cleaned. The floors were wet and dirty. There was trash in the floors. The bathroom sink had hair in it and the ceiling was moldy. Members of our party found blood and urine on their sheets. On Saturday night there was pounding music we could hear in the 6th floor until 12:30 at night. Members of our party called multiple times and it didn’t get better. We were staying for a soccer tournament and our kids needed sleep they didn’t get. The front desk staff didn’t seem to care that they had so many unhappy guests. While we were waiting to check out we saw a number of guests come down and share the same complaints we had. The raucous party in the parking lot was out of control. The lot was full, we had no place to park, and we had to march our kids past drunken people smoking weed to get to our rooms where they couldn’t sleep. Don’t stay there with your family.

This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My father booked us two rooms For my families Fourth of July holiday stay. All common areas are filthy, garbage everywhere you look. No housekeeping over a four day stay, hallways littered with hotel restaurant dishes that were never removed in our entire stay. Moldy shower ceiling, dirty folded towels, dirty sheets, carpets leave your feet black, cops are constantly in and out which is very sketchy. I will never return to this hotel and you should run far away!! Also management does not care so don’t bother reaching out to them.

Hi MrsABennett, Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. I appreciate your choosing us for your trip to the city. We strive to exemplify a hassle-free experience and friendly services. I am sorry we could not meet your expectations surrounding the room's cleanliness, level of staff service, and upkeep of the in-room amenities. It is certainly not what you would expect when staying at one of our hotels. I will share your valuable feedback with the managerial team as a reference to enhance the service and lodging experience we provide. I also sent you a private message to ask for more information about your stay. I look forward to your response. Warmest regards, Zel N. Case Manager IHGService
