I stayed here for one night, selecting the hotel for its proximity to my business meeting. Overall, I had a nice stay. The property is older and the decor/style/design somewhat reflect this. However, everything was very clean and in good working order. My room was very spacious!: a large desk, a big basin, plenty of room to hang clothes, etc. The amenities were standard for a Hilton, including decent in-room coffee and nice bath products. The internet functioned well. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and helpful, including reaching-out in advance via the app to say hello. My food and beverage credit for being a Diamond member was accurately applied. The bar/restaurant was open; dinner service stops relatively early (8:30p), although the bartender helpfully took several orders after this for easier items like salads and sandwiches, which I thought was hospitable. I sat at the bar and had a tasty burger and fries; the bartender was very friendly. Easy dinner, and reasonably priced. I'd certainly not hesitate to stay again if in the area.…
This is a great place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. Awesome staff and amenities and the food at the restaurant is great. I have been here for work for a few months and love it. The rooms are spacious. The internet is fast and plenty of parking and it’s off the road by the river and very quiet. I strongly recommend staying here you will love it !!!
The good: spacious rooms, heat works great, refrigerator and microwave in room, showers OK, towels nice, helpful staff, easy and convenient parking, quick check in and out. The bad: this hotel is pretending that withholding daily room cleaning service somehow combats Covid. Seems to me that a dirty room would do the opposite but I’m no doctor. Something tells me this has more to do with profit maximization than a concern about health. Note to Hilton Northbrook: it’s 2022, not 2020. Also: attached restaurant and bar consistently closes early. Try walking across the street to the Crowne Plaza - bar is open late, has a great wine selection and friendly staff; wait - why didn’t I just stay at the Crowne Plaza??
Had to take take a quick trip to Chicago and stayed here. While the room was what you would expect from the Hilton chain, the staff often times puts a property above others. That is the case here. From the front desk to housekeeping the entire staff was very friendly and outgoing. Everyone we met was accommodating and customer service oriented. Everyone I interacted with was very social. They were willing to take a couple extra minutes during the interaction to ensure the guest was taken care of.
Pet friendly great hotel and staff. Very accommodating free parking large enough for recreational vehicles restaurant front desk especially very accommodating. They have a vast knowledge of the surrounding area and things to do. Very nice walking running trail right next to the hotel it has a five star rating Des Plaines River Trail. I could not have been happier happy holidays
We’ll, not the best Hilton brand stay. Checked in online and it took three trips to the front desk to get to and access the room. Rooms are aged and not being maintained; burnt out vanity lights, in-op thermostat, wallpaper peeling off the wall. Good night sleep, not so much. With a full-size frosted glass window about the same size as the door, the room stays fully lit up and night since there’s nothing to block the hallway light coming into the room. Diamond member, no perks at all!
The rooms were very clean and sanitized, the customer service was exceptional the restaurant food was great.I would recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel it was quiet playing with exceptional customer service
Overpriced group events. Hilton charged us 50% more than what they were advertising online for the same nights. leaky toilet that took 2 requests and 2 days to fix $20 for a runny egg, inedible breakfast.
Great place to stay while visiting the young grandchildren in Evanston. About a 20 minute drive but worth it. Lovely grounds, very clean, friendly and informative staff. Food was excellent and buffet breakfast was delicious.
What make you experience perfect when you are far away from home? Simple smile, genuine conversation, eye contact, humor and understanding! Emotions are so underrated in hotel hospitality, especially now, when we all wearing masks. Many look into aspects like clean room, noise, location when rating a hotel. I am here for 4 nights and being from New York, my threshold for these matters is not high. I am easily pleased. My interactions with the people who take care of me during my stay in Hilton Northbrook are the important part of satisfaction. Christy - front desk clerk - great listener, catching on problem and details right away. Very approachable, genuine. Quick with precise approach to handle the problem: my shower was malfunctioning and water was sprinkling all over the bathroom - Christy sent repair man immediately and by the time I came back from my breakfast, it was fixed. I asked for cups and tea bags in very indirect way, knowing it might be not her I had to ask. She provided both in literally a second with a smile. Christy is such a gem for Hilton. Miguel - facility - I did not interact with him directly, but would like to recognize him : he was the one who repaired a faulty shower head in a matter of 15 minutes. We might not see them, but people like Miguel are the ones who make our stay flawless. Lorenzo - waiter - breakfast is a start of your day and Lorenzo is the one who makes it GOOD start. Attentive - asked me about my stay, what my plans, about my work, about New York. We laughed and it made me feel welcomed instantly. Great people like Christy, Miguel and Lorenzo make Hilton Northbrook excellent place to stay!…
