I rarely write bad reviews but this one I had to write on. The “pet friendly” advertising is pretty off because this place has a very strict pet policy that you cannot at any time have your pet unattended. I am a travel nurse and travel with my cat. On top of paying 20 dollars a night to for my pet to be here, I then had to additionally pay to get my cat boarded at a local vet since I could not leave my cat in the room while I went to work. Overall this should be advertised because I ended up spending over 300 dollars to have a cat here. Will not stay again.
Stayed here on business for 3 nights. It was okay, but I would not recommend it. The staff were very nice- front desk, breakfast attendant and housekeeping were very polite. The hotel was very quiet because only a handful of rooms were occupied while I was there. It appears that the carpeting in the hallways and my room was fairly new. Breakfast was very limited and room amenities were off branded and appeared to have been used, so I didn't touch them. The A/C worked fine. The bedding was GROSS. I didn't notice until my 3rd night, but the underside of the comforter was dirty and had dried cheese (??) on it. I took the comforter off the bed and threw it on the floor so that housekeeping would wash it. If you stay in room 308, check the bedding before turning in for the night. The hotel overall needs a refresh desperately- it looks like the furniture and fixtures haven't been touched in 20 years.…
If in the area, I recommend this hotel. The check in was friendly, help with directions in the area, room was clean and fresh, breakfast ready the next morning. Smooth transaction and price was right.
The hotel is aging but an adequate place for travelers in transit to spend a night. The room had a slight odor but I bought a candle at Walgreens that eliminated that problem. No major compliments or complaints.
I only needed a room for one night. The workers were very nice workers, and the hotel looked quite clean The room was well kept. My only downer was that the lounge chair in the room was old and stained. Seems like they've tried to keep everything updated, but either didn't yet get to or couldn't afford to replace the chairs.
The floors had not been vacuumed or mopped. We were here for my wife’s work so had to bring the baby along with us. My daughter is crawling so we were constantly having to wipe her hands and feet as they were turning back from the floors. The toilet was covered In Irvine and the floor around it as well. Definitely has not been cleaned properly.
The check in lady was super friendly and helpful! The room kinda smelled, but we ran out and bought an air freshener. Of course, due to covid crap we didn't get a real breakfast - just nutri grain bars and pre packed muffins. The coffee, was pretty bad. When you pushed the button a black tar like drip came out first and then when you stopped pushing the button water came out. We made a run down to Dunkin Donuts for coffee. But overall, it was ok.
When we woke up to make coffee in the room, we found a butter pack in the part of the coffee maker where you put in the water THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE - it makes us wonder how thoroughly the rooms are actually cleaned. We mentioned this to the guy that checked us out and he did not even apologize or anything, all he said was "butter for like bread" again completely unacceptable. We also informed him that the people that were directly above us were extremely loud and had kids that ran back and forth and were jumping far into the latter part of the evening way past 9pm, people were out in the hallway yelling and screaming again, no apology or acknowledgement. We won't be staying here again, that's for sure.
I stayed at the Comfort Inn for a trip recently. Was pleasantly welcomed when I arrived. My room was ready- which was great. Clean room and comfortable! The am breakfast is lovely. The staff was outstanding- I really felt welcomed here.
Overall the room was clean. Room had been painted freshly, but the furnishings (tub, mattress, etc.) were old and in some need of updating. Towels had a funny smell to them. Didn't eat breakfast because we had to leave at 6:30 and breakfast started at 7:00 on the weekends. Lobby is really nicely updated and furnished.
