Because we were a large group for a family reunion we booked accommodations at this hotel. Our room consisted of 2 rooms with 2 queens, a pull out double couch and a set of bunk beds. There is a kitchen: refrigerator, stove that is not as workable as one hoped, dishes, etc. The over all look of the room was...

My large family stayed in two rooms. The one with the kitchenette smelled like someone had smoked heavily in there even though it was a non-smoking room. The elevators were filthy. Doors, doorways & floorboards desperately need cleaning. We asked if we could check out one hour later than usual & they rudely refused. Overall, the entire motel needs updating...

During our youth visit to Nauvoo we stayed at the Nauvoo Family Inn. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would stay again. On the plus side, they are set up well to handle large groups - they are the only place in Nauvoo that can fit a group of 200 or more. They were very helpful before and during...

Not sure that any of the employees care about the place. We weren't able to get into our room until the 4th try when they used the old fashioned key. Seems the batteries were dead in the card reader on the door. Then we saw how the bedspreads were just carelessly tossed onto the beds. The rooms and carpeting in...

We are a family of 7 so we usually have to stay in two rooms, but here we appreciated the opportunity of being in one unit - with two bedrooms and a kitchen unit. The "for sale" sign up front was not encouraging, and the property / rooms seemed a little "tired". Carpets were damp, so we did not want...

Our church youth group stayed in the Manor House across the street from Nauvoo Family Inn & Suites and found that 4 bunkbeds (8 beds total) in some of the rooms made it an affordable choice. We adults had rooms with 2 queen beds interspersed with the bunkrooms which helped to keep an eye on the teenagers. The rooms are...

The room looks tired but it's fine for spending a night. A curtain rod is hanging crooked, the upholstery on chairs is a little dingy, the wifi gives an error message that it's full when I try to log on, and there's a sewage stench outside along the west side of the building. There's also a "for sale" sign out...

Stayed here during the Nauvoo Pageant. Located within walking distance of downtown. We didn't eat at hotel, though we saw their facilities. The hotel was a fair price for seasonal accommodations in a small tourist town. There is a lot to see in Nauvoo including the Pageant, historic sites, great food, and the LDS temple.

We ended up here because our first choices were booked. We were only staying one night, and I'm glad. The room was very basic and noisy, with an old, musty smell. The room was freezing when we arrived, so we just turned off the a/c unit, which was extremely noisy. We had to use the washer/dryer, and I'm really glad...

This is a great place for families. We're here with our grandkids and we're on a tight schedule. The early morning desk lady went way out of her way to make sure the kids had fun in the pool. We'll be back!

Thank Walt G

“washing machines are on 2nd and 3rd floors in main hotel. Only one elevator, nearer the front of the hotel. Manor House (unit across the street) is where youth groups stay, so if room in main hotel is available and you aren't with a youth group, you might want to ask for a room in the main hotel.”
