Ashley & Katelyn are awesome, they made the stay there feel as if we were at home. I believe Michael(?) checked me in and he was very kind and sweet. Our room was beautiful and the entire propety was well kept. Santo Cielo, is the resturant on the 5th floor in the opposite building from the front desk, with great views. Stayed January 7th-8th, 2023 AAL
Arrival 5/5 My check in was efficient and friendly. As I had two reservations one after another that was acknowledged. The next morning they had new cards ready for me. I didn’t even have to ask. That has never happened in any IHG hotel when I’ve had two consecutive bookings. Room 5/5 What can I say. FAB-U-LOUS. The rooms are gorgeous and well decorated with charging points where you need them. My only little gripe water temperature was lukewarm. With temperatures outside of -20C not surprised. No shower gels provided. Luckily walgreens next door. Rooms spotless. Staff. 5/5 Why go and stay in the rudeness of Chicago. Naperville staff are just the friendliest. Location 5/5 Well you are in the middle of it all. As it was Christmas one had to endure the street Christmas music. Breakfast 3/5 Normally as diamond I get a free breakfast at any IHG hotel. Here it is only a $20 credit. When most of the breakfast mains are over this price. Plus orange juice and coffee. It’s certainly not a free breakfast. Not buffet but made to order. However food delivered quickly and tastes great Butter was frozen and I couldn’t spread Overall 5/5 Best indigo hotel I have ever stayed in. Great value for money.…
After a serious of unfortunate travel events and spending our first night in the airport, we arrived at Hotel Indigo, very frazzled and without our luggage. It would take me pages to explain all the troubles we were dealing with both personal and travel wise. However, I will say that the staff of Hotel Indigo, especially operations manager, James Pontrelli went above and beyond any expections I had to help rectify our situation. The little things like the complementary bags of toiletries and free breakfast vouchers really cheered us up. Mr. Pontrelli checked in every day asking us for updates on our situations and offering his help with anything we needed, which we often took him up on. This hotel staff is like no other I have ever experienced. If you are ever in the area, give the Hotel Indigo a try. It is perfectly located, offers free parking (although you won’t need a car here), has a stunning, roomy lobby and sitting areas, delicious breakfast, and has a staff that treats you like family! Happy New Year to the staff of Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk. You turned my troubles into smiles!…
1)We booked a higher rate online with IHG honors that was to include 2 full free breakfasts each day. The hotel would not honor this deal, even after we showed them the printed confirmation including this information. 2) Our toilet seat was broken in our room 3) Towels worn and frayed which surprised us with the cost for this hotel 4)inappropriate behavior going on one night in the first floor lobby which made us question the security presence. We contacted IHG 3 times (with an email survey, a complaint form on the IHG website and a letter to the CEO of IHG) and no one responded to our request to be contacted. We completed a review on the Hotel Indigo website and they never posted it. The ONLY good pro for this hotel was the location.
We had our Christmas company outing and rented about 17 rooms and also had appetizers and drinks in the bar. There were approximately 30 of us in there. The problem was only 1 bar tender for us plus all other guests. A manager person was bringing out the appetizers and I asked if she was going to help the 1 bar tender. She said NO it wasn’t her job. I asked if she was going to help her keep up. She said no. CLEARLY she could not keep up. Later after we went out to dinner and came back the same bartender could not keep up once again. In addition a wedding party was now in the bar. I would assume they would love to maximize their revenue knowing there would be that many people in a bar an add additional staff. We would have spent 2X as much money if they would have satisfied our needs during a holiday party and a wedding party. One word RIDICULOUS. We had our party there last year with the same problem. Now 2 year’s running same problem. We will NOT BE BOOKING NEXT YEAR!!…
Excellent hotel. Great location near all bars, restaurants. Warm and efficient service. Corridors have doors which close them in, adding to quiet rooms despite its central location near all the restaurants and bars. On site bar and restaurant.
You leave home to a New Home. Best service ever and experience My favorite of all. Best class ever Location is Best Employees love there job Bar is the best Don’t forget the rest of the day Parking is Free Free Probably the Best part is the location
This hotel is cool, unusual, and warmly hospitable. It is located in the middle of a very trendy commercial development along a riverwalk in downtown Naperville. Many good restaurants and shops are within a very easily walkable distance. The lobby bar/restaurant provides excellent service and a great atmosphere. The guest room was very open and spacious, with a great view of the surrounding riverwalk area. Highly recommend!
The bartender, Colleen, was extremely friendly and gave great service. Drinks were finely made and she gave great company. Her kindness and great service were highly appreciated. We truly appreciate her great service.
I've been to this gem of a hotel multiple times over the past few years, and every time has been a wonderful experience. James at the front desk always greats us as we walk into the lobby of the hotel that is conveniently connected to the coverage parking garage (very helpful in Chicago's winters). The hotel is the place to be in Downtown Naperville. There is shopping and dinning connected to the hotel on the first floor, and many other attractions within walking distance. If you're looking to have a getaway or traveling for business this would be the only hotel in Naperville worth staying at. All the other hotels are situated off the highway. I'll be back soon to this brand new IHG hotel.
