The motel is probably 40 years old and still has the same style and architecture from 1977. With that being said, the manager has kept it clean and provided the expected amenities: in-room fridge, microwave, large flat screen TV, hairdryer, cable, WiFi, etc.
The owner Ken is a real good guy. Very helpful. Rooms are perfect with a fridge and micro. Going back again soon. Great weekly rates! Plenty of stores close by too! The Barn House is next door. DQ across the street.

I agree with Pam S. It's a motel, a place to spend the night. This is the fourth or fifth time we've stayed here and still no complaints. ft is clean, quiet, comfortable, and reasonable. And walking distance from the Amtrak station and downtown.
We have chosen to stay at Kewanee Motor Lodge the last few times we have went there for family business. I agree it is old and not top of the line BUT why in the world would you pay over $100 a night to stay...More
