With the exception of one new build bungalow, these are shacks / sheds / huts in dire need of repair inside and out, or better still, demolishing. Ours stank of damp and mould. Basic beyond belief, and we are very well travelled. Rock hard foam mattresses on a hardboard base. Not clean. Awful tokenistic cleaning/"servicing." Very regimented school canteen style...

I was staying in an apartment and my first impression was that it was scruffy and basic, but clean. I don't mind basic, but the kitchenette was woefully ill-equipped, not even a kettle. No fridge, rusty looking cutlery (just two pieces), rusty clothes airer, broken drawer/cupboard handles, no tin opener, corkscrew etc. What's the point of having a kitchenette for...

If you are looking for a base for a walking holiday this hotel is ideal. Located a couple of minutes from the main bus stop and five mins from the sea front you couldn't ask for much more. Accommodation is pretty basic and the chalets are in desperate need of some paint and repairs but the beds were comfortable and...

Very last minute holiday, booked 4hrs before flight left airport, so didn't have chance to read reviews before we went. Hotel rooms basic but clean. Breakfast ok. Location amazing. Loved that their were hardly any Brits in hotel or resort as we hate too many English speakers or English cafes etc. as they can spoil the feel of a place....

We spent a family holiday here. The people working here were always friendly and helpful and almost made up for the place not being in a better shape. There is nothing wrong with the rooms. They were clean the beds were ok. So was the bathroom. It is just that everything is a little old. Staying here was very cheap,...

Porto Soller is absolutely charming and a great base for trips into the Tramuntana, but Hotel Soller Garden was a bit of a disappointment. We expected a budget hotel with no frills and a pleasant garden. We got the garden - though it was so full of cabins that we literally had to cross someone elses verandah to get to...

I spent a terrific few days at the Hotel Soller Garden. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the waterfront and very close to the bus stop that will take you to Soller Town and Palma. This hotel is listed as a budget hotel but my accommodation felt anything but cheap. I had the Suite (upgraded after...

I stayed here with a friend during time spent cycling in the Tramuntana! Great little Banda's similar to those in Kenya! Set in pleasant gardens. all very private. The accommodation is very basic, bed (mattress was too soft for me) small bathroom - shower & toilet. Showers were super, hot water & powerful. It really suited our needs, we were...

This is a family run establishment which has a warm feel to it. Staying as part of a walking group over Easter, it was just as well we knew the occupants of the adjoining chalet, as sound insulation is minimal and you can nearly hear their conversation! The breakfasts were somewhat boring, with fresh orange juice available for an extra...

Half of the accommodation here is timber chalets set in a pleasant-enough garden area. There are also apartments which we did not see. We stayed in a semi-detached chalet, which I think is the smallest size they do for two people. Biggest disappointment was that the bathroom at the front meant that the chalet is dark and gloomy with no...
