With many pubs in the area closing, it's good to see pubs like the Oak really making an effort. As well as the adjoining cafe they have several theme nights. We went for lunch on a Monday, normally a quiet day in a pub but there were enough people to make an atmosphere. And - oh bliss - there was...

Several of us got together for a meal before Xmas on one of the Jazz nights. We preordered the food and have to say everyone was very impressed with the quality of the food for the price charged - it was nice having Jazz playing in the background. Wine was reasonably priced and the service was efficient and it was...

This is the second time we have held our Christmas party here and again the food and service was excellent. Great value for money and hopefully will be back next year. We are also planning an afternoon tea in the new year.

Can't complain about this hotel. Staff were very friendly and the room was well kept. Breakfast was delicious! The tea was beautiful. Thanks for a great stay :) would definitely come back here if we ever needed a room in the area again.

Visited here on a Friday evening for a birthday meal. It was very busy in the bar and we felt like we were driven in a corner and forgotten about. When we did come to order we were told it was pie week and were given a selection to choose from. However it turned out after placing our order that...

Restaurant Review Only: We had a family meal here and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The menu was interesting, offering good wholesome food with an imaginative twist. The meals are cooked to order and arrived at the table piping hot. The portions were just right, leaving room for the dessert, the only difficulty being making a decision from the very...

Just returned after a one night stay here. Our room was good. Comfy beds. Well stocked hospitality tray. Bath with shower over. Nice and warm and very clean. Only negative was the very small TV. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal here. Staff were friendly and polite. Service was very prompt and efficient. Our meals were very reasonably priced and...

This was great value dinner, bed and breakfast cost less than most nights in a hotel. The staff were friendly and the food good. The rooms were basic but had all you needed and were clean, with fast wifi. I would stay again.

This country Pub is very convenient for Worcester and Stratford, The interior is a delight in contrast to a shabby exterior. The rooms are adequate and the bathroom spacious , and freshly decorated The staff were charming, professional and welcoming. The food was well above normal Gastro Pub Grub, with a wide menu and an outstanding breakfast. All this and...

We were staying nearby at a B & B and needed good evening meals to round off our days. After a disappointing visit elsewhere on our first night, we went to The Oak on our second day. As pensioners, our appetites are smaller than they used to be. It came as a pleasant surprise, therefore, to find, on the menu...
