My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times due to its proximity to the Arcada Theater in nearby St. Charles. It is a very clean hotel with a surprising number of amenities given the reasonable rates they charge. But for me, the most important aspect of this Comfort Inn is the staff's concern for the guest's welfare. My wife's medicine needs to be refrigerated. When we checked out of our room in October, I forgot to check the refrigerator. After we had breakfast in St. Charles and prepared to derive back to our home, my wife realized that she didn't have her medicine. She called the hotel and explained our problem to the attendant. His name was Kevin. Kevin went into our vacated room, found the medicine, put it in his office's refrigerator, and gave it to us when we arrived back at the Comfort Inn. Now, that's my idea of taking care of your customers.…
Older property - needs some updating. Check in on Sunday night at 6:30 pm, no one at the front desk. Pick up the phone and call for help. He showed up in 5 minutes. Good size king suite, but seems dark. Door was missing the safety lock. Comfortable bed. Walk in shower. Hot breakfast with several options. Ice machine on ground floor out of order - second floor was working. Indoor pool was out of order, but hot tub was working. All rooms are quiet. About a 10 minute drive to restaurants.
We stayed in a double queen room that included a microwave and mini fridge. Room size was good for the type of room. Newer 60”? TV. Carpets need to be cleaned. Beds both sunk into the middle but were comfortable enough. Free complimentary breakfast was convenient. Food selections were pretty good. One thing I suggest improving is moving the coffee station out of the back corner to an open space more people can get to at one time. This was annoying. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel was general clean.
Large room, very clean. Comfortable hotel with kind personnel. Breakfast is very reasonable. Location is easy to reach and close both to Geneva and Batavia where you can find good restaurants. I am a frequent customer and I 'll continue to be.
Stayed here one night and got a deal for $99. It was ok, clean, nice employees, bar/restaurant right next door. The hotel could use some updating. The room had a late 90's vibe. Something my 90yr old grandmother might have in her home. I would stay here again if I got a good price.
I'm a bit of a hotel snob, but had to be in Geneva Il for a kids sports activity. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable (though the AC was a little noisy). The breakfast was eggs and sausage to make your own waffles. While the hotel could use a little facelift, everywhere was very clean. Appreciated the homemade brownies at the frontdesk each evening!! Nice pool/hot-tub area. Wish the workout area was a little larger. I'd stay here again!!
We stayed at this hotel for one night while in town for a baseball tournament. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. The pool area looked nice, but we didn't have time to enjoy it. The elevator was a little slow, but the stairs were only on the ends of the hallways making it inconvenient to take due to our room location. The breakfast was great and the employee in the dining area was very helpul and pleasant. Overall, I thought this hotel was very good - I would definitely recommend staying here.
We stayed here two nights in a king suite. We were completely satisfied. The living area was a nice space for our three young kids to unwind. The cleaning staff did a nice job. The breakfast exceeded our expectation (my only criticism is completely trivial, can hotels please start providing two waffle irons on the make-your-own waffle bars?). We enjoyed our stay!
The very best place to stay. Eric Lightner, the manager goes oyt of his way to do anything a customer needs. I have stayed here many times and have been totally catered to by all the staff. Eric and the graveyard employee are the best.
Warm smiles and friendly staff throughout the stay. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Their was a very small oversight in our reservation request, without hesitation our request was honored and we were upgraded to a whirlpool room without additional charge. The beds were comfortable, the whirlpool in the room is a nice size that can easily accommodate two. Breakfast area has typical fare and is well stocked even toward the end of the breakfast window. Cozy fireplace in the breakfast area and beautiful lobby staircase all add to the ambience.
